- Due to covid-19 , many of our equipments are damaged or lost, so practical is less compared to other collages
- I think the fees for the new students are relatively high, it should be less
Remarks :
I appeared in wbjee and secured 1740 gmr rank, and I had many options like jadavpur or kalyani government engineering college but I chose bckv because it's environment is good and I thought my future is secure, yes your future is secure because the academic pressure is relatively less and qualifying GATE is relatively easy, so you can chose bckv if you want to study or prepare for gate, the bad thing is the practical in ag. Engg. Faculty does not occur very frequently, because there is less practical equipments, and admission process is that you have to qualify wbjee or icar(maths included) and secure a rank about 12000 for general, and more than 20000 is applicable for SC/St quota, the hostels are good and the relation between seniors and juniors is mind blowing...
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course to explore the field of agricultural engineering, the minimum qualification of our faculty is doctorate degree, there are 8 semester exams and the difficulty levels are moderate, the fees generally don't hike, we have to give 6775 for our semester fees, but due to financial issues the the new students have to pay 10000per semester, the scholarship that is given to engineering students is a scholarship by the government of West Bengal,called svmcm, the amount is 60000 rs. Per year.
Internships Opportunities :
I can not give the information right now because my internship is in October this year. But the things I heard from my seniors that we get internship in agri- irrigation department of West Bengal and an agritech company called IN GREEN
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is b.tech m.tech etc. The avarage package is 5 lpa and the highest package is 7.2 lpa, because most of the students here come to crack gate the percentage of placement is 40%, my plan is to crack gate and study in IIT.
Campus Life :
The name of the fest is naihrit, that usually occurs in January, and the freshers program is called nabarun, where every student must have to perform something in group, like : dance, folk song, modern song, choreography, radiography, and mime, the books that are available in the library are sufficient to study or research about any field of agriculture, the sports festival occurs regularly every year, other than sports we won agrifest and sports in agrimeet, there is no social groups, and the best thing about bckv is hostels, students run the hostels, we audit fees, and does not matter who eats how much, you have to pay the same mess bill, and food quality is excellent and we get one grand meal every week, like resturant foods

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
