My opinion about my college
Likes
- Infrastructure is very good in this college. AICTE funded idea lab you can see here where you can find 3d printer, laser cutter etc.
- Campus is also greeny and beautiful. Seniors are supportive. Ragging free campus.
Dislikes
- You can't get summer holidays. And other also holidays which is given in the other colleges.
- There is disgusting thing is double cycling is not allowed in campus.
Remarks :
For admission, you have to appear at WBJEE or Jee Main. After counseling you can take this college. Almost in the mopup round up to 55k ranked students also get into this college in the CSE/IT/ECE branch. But also direct admission available here which will depend on your higher secondary marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am tech enthusiastic person that's why I am taking this course and in my college CSE branch is almost decent. Faculties are well qualified and their teaching methods are quite impressive but not all teachers. Every 6 months take the final semester exams. And between this 6-month term, there are two internal exams of 30 marks taken. The level of the exam is easy to intermediate sometimes difficult for math paper. Here siblings scholarship is available, and for WBJEE candidates TFW scholarship is available. And for only West Bengal students you can get a Swami Vivekananda scholarship amount of 60k. The total cost for CSE/IT/AIML/CST is 6.05 lakh. And for west Bengal students here student credit card you can apply for this college.
Internships Opportunities :
Here you can get an internship if you have the potential. On our campus, I internshala is a very famous company to provides internships but they are not coming to college in your WhatsApp gr you are provided links to apply for an internship then if you are eligible and have potential then you will get an internship.
Placement Experience :
You must have above 75% attendance and not have any supple and a least 7 cgpa score is required for placement. The highest package is 12LPA. And the average is 4-4.5LPA. I want to take the GATE exam to do my M.TECH.
Campus Life :
In September there is a techfest for around 2 days. In March there is an annual fest. In January inter-college sports are arranged. And here all the clubs available like dance, music, drama coding, etc. For the hostel, there is a rent of around 36k per semester and food quality is quite good sometimes... sometimes not as good. But in the locality, you can get a pg there food quality is good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
