- Faculties behaviour, buildings for different branches, campus area and maintenance and opportunities are appreciable
- Fests , events and meetups keep spicing the college life
Dislikes
- Syllabus is huge. With growing time they should cutoff unnecessary topics and portions.
- Holidays are not very often. Students expect rest after exams but we don't get enough days to chill.
Remarks :
I have attended the WBJEE exam and scored 2990 rank. After that, I went for an interview with one of the professors and the admission officer of the college and got admission. My elder brother recommended me this college, he is a recent pass-out from this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it offers subjects related to both IT and Electronics core. The syllabus is huge but with the Faculties and Library's support, it is achievable. The faculties are great. They are well-mannered, have appreciable knowledge about their respective subjects, and know how to have fun. There are 56 compulsory exams with different difficulty levels over 4 years. We need to pay the fees for the college semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships at our college are still at huge numbers. The training and placement cells provide and suggest numerous opportunities. After the completion of 2nd year, the TnP cell starts sending links to different internships and trainings through WhatsApp groups.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities may have declined due to the recession period but deserving candidates still get placement offers from campus placements but the tests and interviews have become tougher than earlier years.
Campus Life :
Life is great on campus. Social life depends on personal character and how much you want to socialize with the people around there. The clubs are always welcome and approach you to join them. They conduct events, competitions, interactions with seniors, experts from different fields pass-outs, and many more. The infrastructure of the college is also nice and well-maintained. Almost all kinds of subject-related books and journals are available in the libraries. The classes have nice ventilation and the labs are airconditioned. There are four sports grounds and two common rooms for both boys and girls on the campus. The clubs are casually run by the students and supported by faculties and the college also has an IEEE students branch Chapter in the college. PG area is just opposite the campus merely 2-5 mins.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
