- No campus Life is present in the college very small campus
- College uniform and 75% attendance you have to follow
Remarks :
Gone through jee mains exam rank you can also take wbjee exam to get into this college. College gives nice placement and strict college with a college uniform. Also, 75% attendance is necessary in the college. Teachers are good but mostly all are from Bengal only so this might be an issue. Placements are fine but not that much good. If you are a brilliant student and focus on your studies then come to this college if you want to enjoy your college life
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of all teachers have done PhD and very few are from IIT or nit . Exams are okay not that tough or easy. The teaching style is a mix of both using smartboard and chalk. The library is present and computers are installed. Wifi also available. But the campus is very small. But you will get support from faculty members. And also many events are being organized
Internships Opportunities :
Not opted. No help from the college you have to find your internship and if you got then good otherwise not. College only tells you to study and through placement you can get a job if companies come to college.
Placement Experience :
It is good not that bad but okay .. you get some opportunity in campus placement and also if you want you can prepare for govt exams. They teach all govt exams in the college if you want to crack them you can. Pre placement offers and internship are not available you should try off-campus.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is not expected to be good here. No campus Life because the campus is very small. Also, very strict rules are there you can't play Holi on campus. The hostel is far away from the college and does not have any area. You cannot enjoy this college. Few events are Innovatio, marathon, smart maker festival, and many coding competitions. Yes groups and clubs are there but very limited and boring.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
