- Faculty is pretty good as there are so helpful towards us, some exceptions are there.
- Life is pretty good at the campus , there is fresher , anual fest everything to enjoy our campus life . But but but there is tech fest which is one of the largest in kolkata , including SMART BENGAL HACKATHON which is organized with government of west bengala collaboration with college.
Dislikes
- Campus is good but pretty small for a autonomous college.
- Faculties ar good but some of them ar no so good.
Remarks :
The college was pretty decent on its own. There is no additional test for admission but you have to get a certain rank in WBJEE or in jee main. I was admitted through wbjee. For wbjee, the cut-off varies from 5000 to 10000 for general but for quota reservations, it can go upto 25000 plus. It has a pretty decent campus faculties are pretty decent, and they don't pressure the students much.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This institute is under Makaut. It follows the Makaut curriculum. This was only for the previous year. From this year it became autonomous. That is a huge advantage for this year's students. From this year the college will make their syllabus that is pretty. Faculty is also pretty decent at this college.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opt for any internship yet. However, I was informed that there are internship opportunities available and faculties are pretty helpful in getting an internship on our own. It is pretty good to have some experience before the internship it boosted our CV by a lot.
Placement Experience :
There is in-campus placement available. Every year many companies come and recruit many students as freshers. The average package of 6 lakh per annum. And the highest package can go upto 20 lakh per annum.
Campus Life :
The campus was not so good before but now it is renovated. It is not large but pretty good. We have a pond inside the campus and two grounds. It is divided into two campuses old campus and new campus. There are clubs available for every activity art club, sport club, tech club etc. As a tech or college, it focuses on technical fest communities more than anything good.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facilities from the college. But there is so much messes available beside the campus so i think students will not face any major difficulties for the hostels . As it situated in a highly urban area many options are available like rental flats , messes etc. Messes charges can be from 5000 upto 10000 per month depending upon the facilities

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Review of my collage
Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
