As I'm a civil engineering student, very grateful studying there. I can see that there's many facilties provided for students like cad labs, labs according to the subjects you study in certain dept like it, cse, chemical etc. HIT haldia has best branch of chemical, Biotechnology and food technology engineering. They has maximum number of placements every year. Every college faculty teachers teaches with projector and smart board with their notes. By the way faculties are very supportive there.
As I'm a 3rd yr students currently, I have done my internship in BCCL. College provides atleast one internship for each students. You can apply for internhsip off campus also. 6 months internship you have to do. There are many internships paid or non paid. For being a paid intern you have to acquire an ample amount of knowledge because there are criteria for being selected in such companies.
Criteria for placements are according to the companies rules and regulations. But atleast you have secure 7.5 cgpa each semester for sitting in placement exams. Companies like hcl, hpl, tcs, wipro, aceenture, capgemini, te h mahindra, adani, nestle, iocl etc comes for campus placements. Approx 95% students got placed in good companies with average package. Studying in college you can also prepare for govt exams and for higher studies. Also off campus you can apply. Many such chances are there for students.

In west bengal, HIT is the only college which has large campus area. Campus is too good they provide restaurant, gym, shops, parlour everything inside college campus only. Sports faculties are also good there's separate teams for basketball for both girls and boys. Cricket and football are there for boys. Gym and yoga center is separate for both girls and boys. College also provides hostel for both girls and boys and separate for foreign students. There's total 3 girls hostel and 7 boys hostel.
Every hostel for girls and boys has separate mess of their own. Mess is average kind. Restaurant is also there for your service. If you don't want to live in hostel you can rent a room or live in pg there are many for your service. This place is safe for girls there's no wrong to live outside the campus. There are many students who are living outside.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
