Only the JEE mains(engineering entrance exam) scores are accepted, and on this basis the seat is allotted. Half of the seats are reserved for odisha category students and half is open for all india category. Josaa cutoffs is higher than state category. For example the general cutoff for all india was 26k and state cutoff was 40k in 2024. College is bit smaller (32 acres total but 23 acre usable), faculties are good, especially the lab ones. Infrastructure is still poor compared to other government institutions. Seniors are bit supportive.

Read Full ReviewAdmission to this college is purely merit based, Councilling round like JOSAA and CSAB and also there is 50% quota for Odisha state category students. CSE general category cutoff goes generally upto 40k in CSAB and 50,000 for IT and Computer Engineering branch in CSAB.
