What I Liked

Education quality is top notch . Good quality of teaching.plus good faculty.
Nice crowd and diverse.most of the students are so cool.

What I didn’t like

Canteen service could be better. Plus can add more items
It's like school.doesnot even has university mercy.

Placement Experience:

Placements are avarage here. Every Courses have to Go through Workshops and than they Prepare themselves for company interview.its actually a good move.plus they have to Do mendotory internships.it helps them to learn better.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, at airport authority of india.as am a business student. They gave us roles like marketing, Finance,Human Resources and special for aviation majors.mostly th ey give priority to the aviation major.

My College

Placement Experience:

The placement & job opportunities are not good in the campus specially for technical students. But if u go and apply off-campus jobs its better. My College seniors are really in very good good positions at many big companies.

Internships Opportunities:

I completed my internship of 1month on july,2024 which was a recommend from my college itself. I had to go to the internship institute every 5days a week. I have new knowledge from it had worked with great peoples there who helped me grow and learn new skills. It was a non stipend internship.

Evaluating Assam Don Bosco University Guwahati, A comprehensive Review

What I Liked

Faculty members-They were strict yet kind and always available for the students
Campus- smoke free and greenery ,clean and well organised

What I didn’t like

Network issues sometimes with power cut off most of the times
No Ac in the classroom which makes it hard during the summers

Placement Experience:

Placements are also available depending on the department. However, there was no placement for the Psychology department. The teachers would still share job vacancies available through mail and WhatsApp

Internships Opportunities:

The internship was a part of our curriculum. I have done my internship at Revival Wellness Society (rehabilitation) where I got the opportunity to work with a psychologist and psychiatrist, on one counselling session with the client. Civil Hospital Tura- Had the opportunity to meet several patients at an addiction treatment facility, took MSE and case study Nirmaan Rehabilitation Facility- Took Mse, case study, on one counselling session. MINDX under US- Provided Psychoeducation, one on one counselling session, took MSE and Case studies

Know about Assam Donbosco University Azara Guwahati

What I Liked

The most thing I like about this college is about the faculty being simple and friendly to students and their clear lectures.
Every student is well discipline in this college which is also one I really like about this college.

What I didn’t like

I don't have that much dislikes about the college I'll only say our quadrangle (hall) go echo which make very noise in every program that has been conducted there

Placement Experience:

Many companies come for Campus placement during the final year of the student. The student should have a good record of their cgpa. 90% possible for a student to get placement if they have an excellent record of their cgpa. My plans after getting this degree is to take coaching and crack competitive exams.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides many internships from outside companies like the Institute of technical training services, Tezpur, Assam, Assam Agriculture University, Guwahati, Assam, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, and even from alumni of the college.

All About Assam Don Bosco University

What I Liked

I like the lifestyle that the college brings and how sociable everyone is.
I like the teachers as they are very understanding and are willing to help in every situation
I also like the area of the college and the locals are very friendly and do not cause any trouble for us

What I didn’t like

I dislike that there are not better facilities in the toilets and labs
I dislike that there is not much focus on different activities in clubs and events
I also dislike the fact that there us no proper infrastructure for sports and games.

Placement Experience:

So I am still a first year at this college and thus I have not experienced much of the placement aspect. However, from the words of seniors, I can say that the placement in charge at the college does a great job of looking for recruiters for each student passing out. A few of my senior friends have also already received job offers from decent companies around the area. Mostly the students getting this placement are around 60-80% of the class. Me, I plan to further go for my Masters after this course.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I have not opted for an internship but I am looking for it in the coming year. I will be happy to write about it when I do get or join one. One thing is that the college immediately will help you get this internship and sign up for different online programs.

Life at ADBU

What I Liked

Natural surroundings with greenery everywhere
The inclusive social life out here,no discriminations

What I didn’t like

Teachers with low teaching skills and high absence rate
No proper sports facilities to represent in the higher stage,with no experienced faculty to guide.

Placement Experience:

Not good in terms of placement,only small job opportunities . I haven't heard of anybody getting a high package during my stay. Jobs which are also available on job websites like Naukri.com are only provided,no big mnc or anything else.

Internships Opportunities:

Nothing provided by the university,only self supported with low to no guidance. I did my major projects on the relationship between sports performance anxiety and sports performance perceptions among athletes.

What I Liked

Big campus area, greenery, classrooms are good.
Friendly facilities, Cultural programs, anti ragging

What I didn’t like

Very Far from the city, No mess food included, we have to buy our food everyday everytime
The facilities should be more Active, motivative, hygiene

Placement Experience:

There is not a proper placement kind of thing. But whenever there's like a post of some job or internship opportunities are out they do inform us. But the interships are mostly unpaid. I am planning to go for higher studies to like a MA but I don't think i would be coming back here again.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, I have done 2 internship within this 3 years, with Northeast live and Gplus which is also happen to be partners with our uni. In Northeast live, I was doing an internship for news writing and editing And it Gplus i was interning for Social media team. It was free internship

The review of ADBU

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is quite good. Equiped with smart screens.
Campus life is very okayish. The college events are not lavish as other colleges.

What I didn’t like

Only one of the computer lab is upto the modern specification

Placement Experience:

Placements are okayish. It mostly includes mass recruitment companies and local companies. The internship opportunities are very limited. Although they have recently collaborated with PWC, but not sure if it is a one-time thing or will continue the collaboration

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't get any internship from the college. As I mentioned the opportunities are very less. You have to search for the internship in the companies. Although the college provides in-campus training for replacement of internships.
