The lifestyle aspect of the college is the best part. People are very sociable and it is very easy to make friends. Although there are clubs in the college, they serve no purpose as there are hardly any activities involving them. The infrastructure is improving and although they are not yet at the best they can be, some places like the Labs can still be improved. Every year, there is college week called the D'vere or Boscosiad. At this time all kinds of competitions are held including outdoor as well as indoor sports. It is usually held during Late February or Early March. Football, Dances, Singing and many more are conducted during this period. I have opted to stay in the college hostel so here is a brief review on it. The Hostel is very good if you want to study and focus on class, there are not ma restrictions except for a few like the closing of gate at night, however, the food quality is not the best and some people might have a hard time dealing with that(Try to stay in a PG).

In our university we celebrate all the fastivals. There are different events like, D'verve,Boscosiad, marcemoc and prajuktam. These are the events which helps us in terms of extra curricular.plus we have time to time extra competitions too.

There are two campuses of Assam don Bosco university one is Azara and another is Tapesia. If we talk about Tapesia you will get a large 300 acres campus with good campus life but if we talk about Azara campus you will get very small campus or no campus life.As I am studying at Azara campus pursuing BBA here You will get a good library at this college with lots of books and journals. The classrooms are well maintained with good seats but you didn't get air conditioning facilities at your classroom which is quite surprising comparing to their high fees. The sports facilities of Azara campus is not soo quite impressive here the sports facilities is only for basketball and badminton there are no proper ground or no ground for other sports .There are lots of social group and clubs available in this campus such as naga, manipuri, khasi, adivasi, Bodo many more and if we talk about clubs there are lots of club available here such as dance, sports, music etc.

Read Full ReviewLife at the campus was happening, apart from exams and assignments several important days were observed like Cultural Day, Shakespeare Day, Autism Day etc. Musical events were also organised on several occasions where talented students got a chance to showcase their talents. There are several clubs in the University like Music club, Dance Club, Art club, and Drama club.
Read Full ReviewThe college has a separate hostel for both men and women. The infrastructure of the hostel is well-furnished and tidy. The rooms are spacious and can get single room, doubles room, triple room and dormitory room. The hostel admission is done based on first cum first and the details of the hostel can get through college admission in charge. The food that we get from the hostel mess is clean and cooked properly and the menu of the mess is chicken twice a week, egg twice a week, fish twice a week, veg once a week, and special delicacies during hostel events. There are many PGs and rents around the college for both men and women.
People from different parts of India mostly from the northeast and even abroad students make a very diverse campus. Everyone minds their own business and no interference and no ragging. There are different types of clubs are there like music, literature, dance, environment, sports clubs etc for which a student can join in whichever the student is interested. They main event in this collage is d'verve which is also known as collage week conducted for a week during the first week of March or the last week of February depending on the exam schedule. In this event, different types of competition are held from different clubs like football, volleyball basketball, badminton, singing competitions (solo, duet, choir), battle of bands, chess, tug of war, running race etc. Students have their own responsibilities to look after their own erp website where all the informations are notifies.

Intercollege as well as the College sports weeks have been held. All types of books from novels to journals and subjects are available. The hostel room was quite small but it was manageable. The food was budget-friendly and tasted good. The registration was done the same as the College admission.
Read Full ReviewCampus life is good only in the terms of the nature component covered by forest. No proper clubs, especially not at all recommended to join the university for sports background students,no facility or opportunity present to represent the university or play in University games or others. There is only one fest, boscosiad! Sports events are there, but prizes doesnt even include a certificate. Less investment in sports department. No mass food facility, only cafes which makes food super expensive and food prices increase monthly. Hostels are 4 seater, very super tight space,no other option available for boys
Read Full ReviewSo I live the hostel which is in the campus only. The campus is very beautiful and green. Our block is the largest one among the 5. There's a fest called ImageInd which is our department's annual program take place in the month of May. And this year it's happening on 9 and 10 may. There is a central library in our campus and they do bring books if someone request. Our uni has 3 basketball court, 1 volleyball and a football ground. There is also a Annual program called Boscosiad which consist of Sports, dance and literary competition. So there's one thing I don't like and hate the most is that there's no MESS we have to buy our own food no matter how many times we eat There are multiple canteens but i wish for a hostel own mess. And to add to it they only provide with the water, bed and desk but they charge 14k per semester. But there are plenty of Pgs near the highway.
