SMVDU Admission Latest Updates

  • SMVDU UG & PG admission is ongoing for the session 2023. The application ends on May 19, 2023.
  • CMAT 2023 Registration is open now. The Last Date to apply is March 6, 2023.
  • CUET 2023 examination has been released by NTA. The CUET UG 2023 examination will be administered from May 21 to May 31, 2023.
  • CUET UG 2023 is scheduled to be held from May 21-31, 2023.

SMVDU Katra admission for 2023 Will be available soon on the official website. SMVDU Katra offers numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses, including BTech, BArch, BA, MA, MSc, MTech, MBA, etc. SMVDU also provides postgraduate courses such as MBA and a five-year Integrated MBA with BBA Honors. The university also offers a five-year Integrated MSc Economics course and a Ph.D. in Economics.

  • Candidates applying for B.Tech admission must have completed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board or its equivalent. Additionally, they must pass JEE Mains or CUET UG, followed by SMVDU Direct Counselling or JOSAA.
  • B.Arch admission is based on either the JEE Main or NATA examination. In addition, they must have passed 10+2 with PCM and a minimum of 50%. Counseling is identical to that for B.Tech.
  • For M.Tech admissions, candidates must pass the GATE or SMVDUEE exam and possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Technology with a minimum aggregate grade point average of 50%.
  • For MBA admission, candidates must pass the CAT, MAT, or CMAT for direct admission, or the SMVDUEE if they do not qualify for the national entrance exams. The candidate would then be invited to participate in a group discussion and a personal interview if qualified.
  • Admission to a Ph.D. course is contingent upon a qualifying UGC-NET/JRF/SLET entrance exam for direct admission. Or those applying for University Entrance who are selected based on their previous examination scores.
