The Extreme beautiful of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology

What I Liked

From the infrastructure I like about various facilities like swimming pool, cricket stadium, various sports facilities, SAC, GYM etc
Faculty- Some faculty members are very supportive and give us guidance and help us to real world projects. I like campus life when students crowd in the SAC AREA COMPLEX AREA and so on.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure- ECE Buildings and hostel bathroom should be renovated. It should be painted.
I don't like faculty members who doesn't support some students who do partiality and some professors are rude. And I don't like the student who spread dirtiness in the campus etc

Placement Experience:

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

Remarks:

Looking to the SLIET campus is so large and the beautiful infrastructure in the campus . Swimming pool, Cricket stadium and other sports and co curricular area is situated here and most valuable thing ROI RETURN ON INVESTMENT attract me so that i choosed it. Admission process is based on JEE MAINS SCORE and No I can't faced in problem for taking admission into this college.

UNFILTERED COLLEGE FEEDBACK

What I Liked

The college campus is very good there is greenery in the college peaceful environment you're far way from the city there is no pollution in the college you get fresh air . College campus is just like tier 1 iit, nit
Facilities which we get in the college is quite good classroom are fully air conditioned with smart boards available in the classroom room

What I didn’t like

There is no night life in the college there is certain time limit in the college at night For boys it's 9:00 to 9:30 pm For girls it's 7:00 to 7:30 pm Within this time period you have to report to your respective hostel
There is no place to hangout nearby outside the college City is far way from the college and there is issue of transportation too in the college there are buses available in the respective time period

Placement Experience:

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Remarks:

Best factors for which I am at this college is Fees is affordable Enviornment is good Campus is very good you will get diversity here in the college For taking admission in the college you have to give entrance test of jee mains and you have to secure 75% in your class 12 board exam and after giving jee mains examination you have to go through counselling process which is jossa and csab there is two way of getting Admission in this college that is from jossa either or csab

SLIET Honest Review

What I Liked

Very good infrastructure and vast campus and lush greenery
A good campus Life not much hectic easy for a student aiming for any side hustle

What I didn’t like

The one thing I did not like is the food quality in mess
The other thing I did not like is the outdated curriculum

Placement Experience:

There are a decent placement and job opportunity here the only thing required is good skills, I the students is done enough with his skills and study, there is nothing to worry about campus placements as the college also have a strong alumni network. Highest package till date is 33 Lpa and average package ranges from 4-5 Lpa.

Remarks:

Many reasons like very less fees and very lush greenery and vast campus are some of the reasons why I choose this college. To get admission in this college i have cleared jee mains with a percentile of 93% and through josaa counselling and generally in my stream computer science students over 90 percentile are selected here.

college review of SLIET

What I Liked

college campus is good while infrastructure is also good except some hostel as it is old type.
mostly faculties are good , supporting and well qualified.

What I didn’t like

connectivity for college is not good . you have to travel almost 20 km from main city to reach college.
hostel timing is not good because you cannot go outside after 10 pm in night for any reasons except health issues.

Placement Experience:

for placement there should not be any backlogs , and CGPA should be greater than 7 . for recruitment generally visiting companies are TCS, COGINANT, INFOSYS, TATA,JP MORGAN, RPSG, etc. big companies do not visit here generally. highest package is 18 LPA while average package is 5 LPA . placement is not vey good here but is satisfactory. you have to give efforts from your side. i would like to go for placement.

Remarks:

for taking admission here you have to give joint entrance exam then you have to go through counselling process which is held by JOSSA and CSAB . you will get branch according to your percentile and rank . i have got here ECE as my percentile was 91. fees of this college was very less as compared to other GFTIs , campus was good and big and have almost all type of sport facilities including gym. campus area is nearly about 450 acres and have very good atmosphere. a boy nearby my hometown has passed from here so he suggested me this college. and after gathering and evaluating all things i thought to took admission here.
