Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) admits students to B.Tech and MBA along with other undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission can be entrance-based or merit-based, depending on the course. For 2026, the B.Tech first-year fee ranges from INR 3.34 Lakhs to INR 4.76 Lakhs.

MUJ Jaipur treats B.Tech as its flagship course. Students applying for B.Tech are considered through Manipal Entrance Test (MET) or JEE Main, and Computer Science & Engineering is the most preferred specialization. Manipal University Jaipur B.Tech Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 or an equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects. They must also study Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or any technical vocational subject. A minimum of 50% marks is needed in Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject taken together.
Selection Criteria: Admission depends on the rank secured in Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2025. Students with valid JEE Main scores may also be considered.

Ans. No. MUJ does not give direct B.Tech admission. Students are selected through their MET rank or eligible JEE Main score, and the admission process also includes counselling.

Ques. Can students take MBA admission at MUJ without CAT, MAT, XAT or another management test?

Ans. No. MBA applicants must have a valid national-level management entrance exam score such as CAT, MAT, XAT and similar tests. Final admission is based on the entrance score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Ques. How does MUJ prepare the MBA final merit list?

Ans. The merit list is usually made by giving 70% weightage to the entrance test score, 15% to Group Discussion and 15% to Personal Interview. The exact weightage can change each year.

Manipal University Jaipur PhD Admission 2026

MUJ offers PhD courses in full-time and part-time modes. The research areas include Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities.

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is the best and the classes are well maintained
All the things which we need are available in the campus itself

What I didn’t like

Maybe the food cause sometimes the food is not upto the mark
Second thing is the college is very much out of city

It has great teachers and focused study great ranking overall good the teachers sometimes just focus of come students you need to be punctual every time to prove yourself better you have to give jee mains or the Manipal exams to join the college

What I Liked

If you want to socialize and want to get exposure this is the right place you will get here as much as you want and infrastructure is like as hotel which are 5 stars which is pretty as compared to others
There are clubs in the college regarding almost every field you can imagine you can join them and enhance your skills

What I didn’t like

Mess food was the worst food ever I get in my life you are not able to eat the food properly
Security system here is the timing that you cant go outside from ,9 pm 6 am to 9 pm you can go after that you cant come in hostel

Remarks:

First the infrastructure of the college is ultra luxury and super good second thing the curriculum here is good also so I choose to come here because the exposure here is so much good which makes the person more confident and build connection

My College Life

What I Liked

Infrastructure of the college is really beautiful a lot of greenery and good colours in the college
Hostels are really cool you have they’re very clean and they’re very huge a lot of cultural stuff and keeps going on you have good complex which is a very lovely

What I didn’t like

Party crowd is really bad over here people I don’t like it because I’m not into that much but people might like it so I don’t have any opinion
College is far away from the main city so you have a bit of connectivity issue and probably that’s it you have to hop on one hour to get into the city

Remarks:

I did write MIT exam for this but I was not able to get into the main campus so I had to choose this Campus and was not willing to get into any local colleges prefer this This college is very decent you could get into it

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very well designed and they are constructing and developing more and frequently .
the campus in itself is very huge and provides all the facilities and campus life is lit in manipal.

What I didn’t like

Campus life could have been more engaging if the class schedules had matched and classes had not been held on a continuous cycle.
faculty needs to be strictly examined as they lack the requirement to complete the syllabus in time let alone the teaching part.

Remarks:

Good aspect would be the luxurious environment that this university provides as in the name of infrastructure facilities and bad has to be the competition and the standard that university demands . my admission was based on my merit of other law entrances which required me to fulfill the criteria of 80% above.

What I Liked

College is a vibrant place has great atmosphere and culture regarding pretty much everything from studies to sports. The curriculum is also up to date and teachers are also well versed with everything new in the markets which help students to make decisions about their future and present

What I didn’t like

It is a bit expensive and the placements can improve and the college campus in a place called bagru which is far from the main city

Remarks:

I was getting admission in muj in case iot specialization through met the entrance exam and councelling. I found the cllg to be good enough for me and close to my hometown plus I had some friends already studying in the college.

Life in muj

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike most is the atmosphere here which has changed after increase in admissions. The place is overcrowded and somewhat not safe. The infrastructure is good and the faculty is just okay but the mass recruitment has ruined a lot of things which raises questions of safety, quality, environment. The mass intake also contributes to degrade in college life as the campus is too crowded and full of people and also invites trouble to an individual

Remarks:

The main reason why I joined this college was because of its low intake of students and a friendly environment because of selective crowd. I also was drawn towards the party culture that this college had to offer as it would have helped me gain confidence as well as improve my socialising skills. Apart from that the academics was not bad and the hygiene and facilities were up to mark. The reviews which I recieved from my seniors also made me positive about the environment and lively culture of the college

No, I just got a call from the college and then they asked for my 12th result and then they said that you are eligible for CSE program in our college . You just had to be a good speaker in my opinion .

What I Liked

things i like about muj is its modern infrastructure that is smart classrooms high tech labs a vast library with 100000+ books and digital resources vibrant campus life annual fests like oneiros and techldeate experienced faculty and strong placements

What I didn’t like

some areas in which muj can improve is in the 75 % attendance rule as some students find it difficult to follow this rule as they are in some clubs or internships

Muj campus has modern infrastructure well equipped libraries good placement opportunities sports and fitness facilities overall campus life here at muj is very vibrant it is best for students looking for a balance of academics placements and campus life. TO get admission at muj you can either give MET exam or on the basis of 12th result on the basis of these met results you can get scholarships like 1st topper of met and whose parental income is lesser than 8 lpa will get 100% fee wavier 2nd topper will get 80% fee wavier

A University of Disappointments: My Honest Review

What I Liked

the architecture and overall infrastructure of the university is top notch, one of the best in the whole state
also there are not many restrictions which gives a person a lot of scope to grow not just academicly but mentally as well

What I didn’t like

the faculty doesn't care about the students at all they don't care at all about the student's growth, most refuse to even help and there are a lot of professors who are very unprofessional as they are involved in very ethically wrong things such as harrassing students and bribes
because the university lacks restrictions, a lot of illegal work goes down in here which never gets out of the university

Remarks:

The information you find on the University's website and the way councellors tell you about the university it made me believe that getting admitted here would be the best option and there's an online entrance exam but direct admissions are also available
