Private companies come to recruit students as teaching associates. As an example, the Azim Premji Foundation came and they took written tests and interviews to select candidates for their institutions as teachers in various subjects. As it is not a placement-based degree, not many students get placements.
Yes, I have given a written entrance test in pen and paper mode, an MCQ-based examination. After that, I have been selected for this course. The total score was 100 and the cut-off was around 38-40 for the general cast. As this is a master's course so for preparation I have prepared the syllabus of graduation course very well. As for the aspect of my university, I would like to say about its campus, which is very nice and gives you the best environment for studies and the behaviour of the professors and staff is very good. The library facility is also very good. We can access almost every book from the sectional library and central library. Hostels of this university also provide good food and good rooms to stay and help to grow us in every way. I am really in love with my university.
Read Full ReviewEligibility criteria for placement are that u have to be a final year BSc student or a master or PhD student with a good CGPA and should be presentable. I don't know such names of the companies but recently a seed company visited and they recruited around 15-20 students from their company. The highest package so far is 8LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is much less around 5-10 pe. My plans after getting my degree is to do a masters
The good aspects are there the classrooms are well built and with AC facilities and the teachers are highly qualified. The bad aspects are that the roads are not good and the transportation is not good and the college is in a rural area. I got admission based on my 12-grade marks. Now the admission process has changed and admission is done through the CUET exam.
Read Full ReviewPlacements in our college are not likely to happen every year but in a few years some companies come to give placement to the final year students and students from masters. The percentage is honestly less around 5-10 percent only. I am planning for my masters
The good sides are that Excellent faculties and good infrastructure in the classrooms and labs and the average is the transport facilities and rural area. Admission is done through CUET EXAM also sometimes university tests. I got admission with the help of my 12 th grade marks

One can approach academics or enter media houses after the course easily. As we are made technically sound with all the assignments and practical work.
I researched about the college through some known seniors in the department (center for Journalism and mass communication) who furnished me with detailed advice, the department organizes a lot of seminars and workshops for better learning apart from classroom teaching also it gives a good exposure and helps in building network in the media industry. I cleared cuet to get admission through a direct counseling process but this year the admission process has been changed where students have to clear a written theoretical exam followed by a panel interview session by the faculty to get into comic

Read Full ReviewI opted for my course of study purely based on personal interest and lucrative job opportunities in this field. The faculty of my department is highly qualified and vigilant towards the education of the students, creating a serious environment apt for teaching and learning. The semester exams are not delayed they take place after 6th month of starting the session. I have opted for the SVMCM scholarship provided by the government of India, which is in process.
I had my mother study at Visva Bharati, furthermore, there is only Visva Bharati in my state that provides the course I had aspired to study i.e. BA(Hons) course in the Chinese language at the ug level. These factors influenced me to choose this university. The admission selection was done through cuet and the document verification was online hence the admission process was quite convenient. But the admission process started much later than other state universities and private universities which caused a lot of uncertainty. Being an unpopular subject of study the cut-off for my course was quite low.

First of all I studied about this University in books as Rabindranath Tagore established this University and I love Mathematics from my childhood. So combining these two factors I selected this University and this course.
