The good aspects are there the classrooms are well built and with AC facilities and the teachers are highly qualified. The bad aspects are that the roads are not good and the transportation is not good and the college is in a rural area. I got admission based on my 12-grade marks. Now the admission process has changed and admission is done through the CUET exam.
I chose the course because there are so many job opportunities in diverse fields. Facilities are gold medalists of many universities and they are very caring towards the students. The term exams are likely to happen in every 6-month interval and the difficulty level is moderate. The cost of studying for 4 years is around 20 thousand. We got the SVMCM Scholarship.
No such companies have offered me any kind of job. Honestly speaking there are no such projects or tasks held for the students in our college. And right now I am not doing any internships.
Eligibility criteria for placement are that u have to be a final year BSc student or a master or PhD student with a good CGPA and should be presentable. I don't know such names of the companies but recently a seed company visited and they recruited around 15-20 students from their company. The highest package so far is 8LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is much less around 5-10 pe. My plans after getting my degree is to do a masters
No such fests happen in the college but various traditional programmes are conducted throughout the year in Sant. Every type of book is available in the library. Classrooms have digital screens for teaching and writing and ac with good quality seating arrangements and all. Every year year sports competition is held by the students Various clubs such as music club, drama club, games club etc are there which are run by the students only. In the hostel, the food quality is decent not that good. The menu is that in a week 4 veg meals, 4 fish,4 egg,2 chicken meals are there. Registration for a hostel is done just after the admission process in the proctor's office.
I do not have any idea abt hostel i just filled ir because the web is forcing me to and about internship and package theres nothing college gives you come on it’s not engineering college it’s a law college they do not provide much but the basic other things you gotta look out for yourself
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
