- The labs and classrooms are really good with various teaching facilities. Faculties are very much caring towards the students
- Campus life in one word is fun but also in hostel managing everything with yourself only is a bit struggling.
Dislikes
- The roads are of poor quality and the rural area makes the transportation a bit problematic
- No such placements are given to the students so getting job after completing the degree only us a bit tough.
Remarks :
The good sides are that Excellent faculties and good infrastructure in the classrooms and labs and the average is the transport facilities and rural area. Admission is done through CUET EXAM also sometimes university tests. I got admission with the help of my 12 th grade marks
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's a professional course and various job opportunities are there. The faculties are highly qualified and most of them were from IARI .and they teach us with care and support us with their eligibility. Term exams are likely to happen in 6 6-month gaps and difficulty level is moderate. The cost for 4 years is around 15-20k around. We got the SVMCM Scholarship.
Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are not likely to happen every year but in a few years some companies come to give placement to the final year students and students from masters. One of the seed companies came last year for placement and they recruited like 20 students. I don't know much about the package but it's around 6 LPA. The percentage is honestly less around 5-10 percent only. I am planning for my masters
Campus Life :
Not such fests are likely to happen there but various traditional programmes of Santiniketan and also reunion is conducted in every two years with a grand budget. High-quality and various types of books are available in the library. Classrooms are well built with ac facilities and also VR facilitates also there with big screen . Inter-year sports are conducted every year and also university-level competitions are there. There are various clubs in the college like drama club, sports club, gaming club, art club etc. The food quality is quite decent not up to the mark but it's good overall. Hostel registration is done every year after the admission process. I live in a hostel only.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
