Affiliated to the Punjab University and one of the oldest colleges in India, DAV Chandigarh offers a number of undergraduate courses such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Voc., postgraduates degrees in Science, Commerce and Humanities. along with the PhD option in four science subjects. Apart from these, the college also offers Diploma and PG Diploma courses in different disciplines. The admission process for the 2022-23 batch started after the declaration of the 10+2 board results for the undergraduate courses and is ongoing at the moment.

  • Admission for all the undergraduate courses is merit-based, i.e. based on their 10+2 exam score and the availability of seats for that respective stream
  • For M.Com, the candidates must possess a graduate degree in Commerce (general or Hons.) with 45% marks or 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Commerce, and the selection is merit-based, i.e. based on their score during graduation
  • Similarly for M.Sc (IT), the selection is based on their graduation score, but for M.Sc Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Zoology/ Biotechnology, selection is done on the basis of their score in the PUCET exam
