It has 9 subjects and teachers are very very friendly they take us on occasional trips and it is very fun we organise our own freshers subjects change every 6 months but it isn't very hectic as I thought
It offered my desired course and my career counselor helped me, plus it was near my locality my father studied from here it was big and also had a lot of clubs there were many many people who were my friends here.
Read Full ReviewFaculty is great and have command over their respective subject. One should make enough efforts in college in order to get placed. There is a mid sem exam which consists of 40 marks and on the basis of mid term your internals are marked.
The factors which led me to choose this college over any other college was it's rich history in defence background as PVC Captain Vikram Batra was a alumni of this college. Since someone having interest in defence can surely go for davc.
Read Full ReviewThere is placement cell in the college which is run by commerce stream students. Some companies like godrej and ITC came to pick students. There is a separate exam and interview for the placement in the companies.
Admission to this college and other colleges in chandigarh (affiliated with Panjab University) is on the basis of marks scored in class 12th. Forms were filled online at the website of DHE Chandigarh. And there is also a quota for local residents.

The atmosphere of the city and apart from that it is a famous college in Chandigarh affiliated to Panjab University which is again a well renowned institution in Chandigarh and it has a great reputation around in the state.
Read Full ReviewI liked history from school times hence I opted this course. Teachers are very supportive and good quality of education is provided. After 2 months Mid Sem Test are being conducted regularly in every semester
Admission was on the basis of merit. I took admission because of my brother as he was also studying in this college and my father wanted me to study in this college. Cutoff is around 85 percent in 1st merit list.
Read Full ReviewCompanies show up but very low pay is offered and very low placement rate. Companies with no scope of growth come for recruitment, no one ever throws light on this factor but everyone wants to reduce the low attendance fine.
It was close to my house and it had a good image among people. But it was completely a opposite experience and overall experience wifh this college was not so good , there are better college in terms of study available out there

The admission was based on merit basis. The College is great with the faculty it provides. Labs are also good . Lab faculty is also great , we can spend as much as time their in lab working for our practical. The group discussion were also great at the clubs I joined where mostly our seniors used to guide us with our overall process
Read Full Reviewsome of the faculties are really good , have good nature but again from that good faculty, there are still a lot of teachers who don't know how to teach . you cannot understand even if you try. and then the majority if faculty is just there , they are so bad they couldn't care less about thr Student and have no sense od talking or teaching.
we were selected on the basis of our results for 12th . i chose this college because i was told that it was a great college and my parents also wanted me to get in . it's not that complicated but you need to have good marks for passing the criteria

The average package offered is 3 LPA. The companies like Amazon , Deloitte offers the jobs. The basic condition is that the students must by knowledgeable and confident enough to crack the interviews.
The college have a really good reputation and is affiliated under Panjab University, Chandigarh. After completing my Graduation, I'll get a degree at name of Panjab University which is highly reputed. The addmission is on the merit basis of class 12th marks.
Read Full ReviewWell no Campus placements are provided after completing Bachelors of Arts as you'll have to complete masters then Phd and after doing all of these you can find a teaching job or can do free lancing accordingly.
The admission was based upon your 12th marksheet and no written exams was conducted and the fact i choose this college was it's low fees structure and high quality education and facilities.. I'm studying psychology and the teaching staff is very educated and talented
