Read Full ReviewDyal singh definitely has a good campus compared to other south campus college. As the campus is pretty big. It does not have any hostel so you will have to find accommodation outside of your college. Library is pretty good though I have not keenly investigated it. Classes too are pretty big and decent for government college. Extracurricular activities are also present but not abundant enough. The canteen is good and the food too is cheap and good in taste. It has various societies that works regularly and are active too. And as for the fest dyal singh fest is not something to be excited about in my opinion. I stay in PG , in South Delhi. The PG availability is very nice here ranging from as low as 6000-7000 to 20,000-25,000.
Read Full ReviewThe campus area is around 11 acres which is quite good for enjoyment. There you can play football, volleyball, and basketball. There is also a big ground for ncc where you can practice. The library is also good there you can study and also can borrow books for around 2 weeks. There is no hostel in the college but you can easily get PG, flats in a nearby place.
Read Full ReviewThe canteen food is really good. DSC does not provide any hostel facilities as of now. But students can easily find PGs and flats./rooms nearby the college campus- Lodhi Road. For example, lajpat nagar, south-ex etc.
Life at Dyal Singh College is really amazing. There are many societies for students to participate in such as Drama, Dance, Fashion etc. The campus stays active with many events going on at the Amphithiatre. It is one of the favourite place of students to hangout and gossip, an open area to enjoy events and fests.
Read Full ReviewThe college conducts various cultural fest throughout the year on department level and also conducts an annual college fest 'Priyadarshini' . Its has a library with all the course books available and other books too. The college has a sports ground where almost every sport can be played . The college has societies like ENSO,placement cell,Paws 'n' Tails, enactus, etc
Read Full ReviewThere is no facility for hostel accomodation available in the college but there is a canteen in the college campus and the food quality is just average but it is fine with respect to the price charged, also the infrastructure of the canteen is good as per my observation. I have not rented a room near the college as I am from Delhi itself but other students generally reside nearby in Jangpura, SouthEx or Kotla and the locality is just amazing although the rent charged is high but the since it is South Delhi, it is somewhat normal comparatively and justifies the price.
Life at DSC campus depends upon your ownself and your openness, I feel this is the best place to network, make new friends and explore. The student strength is massive, this means you have a lot of networking opportunities. There are various clubs and societies which excel in their own domains like there is a travel society too which is found nowhere else in the Delhi University, all these societies conduct fests as per their suitability and also there is an annual fest held by the college every year. The library is well-maintained and has a lot of books ranging from academics to literature to self-help. The classrooms does not have a lot of facilities but some of them are well-maintained while the others feel like trash. There are no ACs, some classes have projectors which do not work, some of them have deformed desks and there is somewhat lack of infrastructure. There are a lot of sports played in the campus ranging from outdoor to indoor games, also there is a society for eSports.
