SPCMC Review

What I Liked

The ground... Students play cricket, football and other sports throughout the year
Good classrooms... Enough ventilation and cleanliness

What I didn’t like

The teachers... They aren't very conceptually sound about the subject that they teach
Lack of washrooms... There are only two washrooms.... One in each building, even though the campus is huge

Placement Experience:

There are minor internship opportunities....not worth it ... Companies like IPAC and others come for internship... It's better to study hard and prepare yourslef for the job market than focusing on getting such minor internship opportunities

Remarks:

Big playground... High number of teachers who take regular classes... The teacher to student ratio is pretty high... There are no group discussions or interview for admission... It is based on the marks in the class 12 board exams.... And a merit list is issued based on that

What I Liked

I don't like the college very much but the faculty here is really good.
The annual College fest which is called NEXUS.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of the college and the fee structure.
Sometimes classes are infrequent which can cause problems

Placement Experience:

Internships or placements were not available at that time I don't know about the current scenario. You can pursue higher education after graduation and then avail of a job opportunity. You can carry out b.ed to avail the teaching job opportunity.

Remarks:

The students are selected only based on class 12 results and there are no written tests or any kind of interviews. I choose this college because of its standard faculty. The cutoff can vary each year.

College life experience of St Paul's cathedral mission college,kolkata

What I Liked

Faculty is really nice and their behaviour are also good they help every individual.
Campus life is also good there is a big garden cum sports ground inside the college campus , college campus is also really huge specially in a congested city like kolkata

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure wise the mathematics department has a full AC computer lab for programming stuff .
You find really good friends there if you join St Paul's ,there are many activities,sports program you can participate there.

Placement Experience:

Remarks:

Department of mathematics is really good the faculty is nice , enriched with knowledge ,they are quite helpful and guide individually where to improve and put their effort very hard to enhance the potential of the students.
