Campus is really good it's so green being in Kolkata our campus is really devoted to nature it's so green and clean . Sports activities are really good. Everyone is so helping, seniors are really good.

See the hostel is mandatory for all BS-MS students, so you can't opt for a pg or rent a room if you want to, the campus is situated very outside the main city(kolkata) so you will get most of your things withing the campus, be it a hair dryer or some pizza, the mess food is comparatively good from other colleges, the annual fest here is INQUISTA, it's not as extravagant but it is a college fest, the sports club and cultural clubs are very active here, if you are interested in sports or music or dance, just try it out, don't think that in a research institute there will be no allowance of sports rather I must say student play sports more than studying here lol, hostel is very affordable approx 5000 for the whole semester, that's a govt. College for you, we have a website for college developed by our alumnis and now run by the college that is welearn IISER kolkata, there is even opposite gender visit allowed.

Campus life is very peaceful and the burden of studies is well managed. Due to the kind of environment, you get over there. There are many extracurricular activities including sports and cultural activities. The library is well furnished with all the kinds of books and research papers required. The Hostel is good enough. Mess Food is better than most of the colleges out there. The fees are quite affordable for the kind of facilities, it is reasonable.

We have grounds for football, cricket, tennis, and badminton court.Also there's a dedicated building for indoor sports. We also have dedicated spaces for music, singing, and dancing.Our college, IISER Kolkata, has its own app which is limited to working under the institute's Wi-Fi.It includes features like mess menu, class schedules, etc.

We have a yearly fest named Inquivesta, other than that we have inter iiser cultural meets and sports meets every year. We've got most of the good books in the library unless they're super rare. Sports club are active too with tournaments happening around the semesters. Most of the clubs are run by students themselves.

Campus is full green as it has 6 rank in nature index in all over college on India. Clubs in this college are quite good specifically ek pehel which is only for poor kids get their education free and every necessary goods are provided to them.

I Most Liked The Nature Of IISER Kolkata. Far From Hustles Of City, IISER-K It's Made In A Village, Open Fields, Small Forests. I Can't Say I Particularly Disliked Anything, But The Pace Of Course Is a Bit Fast. Now, talking about campus life... Socially, IISER-K is very rich. There are many clubs and activities to participate in. Starting from music, drama, dance, chess, quiz, movie, nature, science, maths, arts, literature, photography, spicmacay, sports ..... Everything is there. Among extracurricular activities, there is drama, football, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball, kho-kho, cricket etc. Most of these social groups are completely run by students.

The name of our collage fest is inquvesta and that conduct in march april time . Here our library is open for all collage students for 24x7 time . Here we have too many class rooms for all department and every teacher has their own allotted labs. And we have our cricket ,football, vollyball, batminton, basketball ,table and long both tennis grounds all types of ground and for indore game we have sac building .Our hostel is too good ,we have washing machine for washing cloths . And our food quality is good we need to buy our food daily , it's mean we need to pay money for our daily meal. And we have a student comity they desides our daily menu.

Life at campus is chill there are not much restrictions or curfew annual fest called inquesta happens in march but due to financial constraints it has not happened on a large scale library has all type of books required in academics and various research papers and encyclopedia available class romm is average with a projector clubs are active there are various clubs that conduct cultural event and sport events Hostel is good for 2 years you have stay with 2 other roommates and in 3rd year you get to live with 1 partner overall hostel is good mess is 9kay they serve bengali food alot hostel fee is included in college fee you have live in campus as it is residential campus
