My academic program is a 5-year course that includes internship opportunities, providing hands-on experience. The faculty members are highly qualified, having graduated from reputable institutions IISER, IISC banglore and IIT's. They offer excellent support and guidance, always willing to help and provide the best .During my course, internal assessments were conducted, but the number of tests varied across different departments.CGPA is determined based on the performance in these semester exams and internal assessment also assignments were given frequency. Compared to JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and other entrance exams for IITs, the paper level in my course was relatively easier and more theoretical. The exams focused more on descriptive questions that required elaboration, rather than just multiple-choice questions (MCQs). This allowed for a deeper assessment of our understanding and application of concepts. They can be challenging and frustrating, making it difficult to stay engaged.
I was very interested in Research programs that made me choose this college. I came to know about this college through my institution where I did my entrance exam preparation. So to get admission and enter the college we have to write an exam called IAT (IISER APTITUDE TEST) and based on the scores we are selected. So this exam contains 60 multiple choice questions which include 15 biology , 15 chemistry , 15 physics and 15 mathematics. The question paper level will be harder than Neet paper and JEE main paper but easier than JEE advanced paper. The questions are moderately hard and tricky but students with good basics can crack the exam very easily. I was a student focusing on Neet exam which made my IAT exam preparation easier as l was studying for Neet and I also studied Maths from my school, I opted Bio maths in my Higher Secondary Education.

I prepared for IAT exam. No GD-PI. I liked the location and the faculties in Physics are excellent. The bad thing would be the cutoffs for physics but can be done with a good enough CGPA from the start

Read Full ReviewAs an undergraduate student, I know less about the placements. But my goal is to complete the BSMS course and get a Ph.D. offer from a good University. Because even if the college has placements. The amount is not so much. On average, you can get 6 to 7 lpa. and very few students are offered actually. the roles are mainly researcher and teacher. Internship opportunities are easily available. But you've to work for it, email the professors again and again. I haven't applied or am willing to apply in the first year so I don't know about the projects and outcomes for now.
Mainly I was heading for an IIT but when I realized that Jee still needs mech preparation and I had no time, additionally I had a little nack towards research, I got to know about IISERs and IAT. I prepared for a month, sat for the exam, and got selected for IISER-K. The exam is very easy.
