Founded in 1990, Acharya Institute of Technology is a private institute in Bangalore. The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. NAAC accredited, the institute is AICTE and NBA approved. In 2024, IIRF ranked the institute at 78 for BTech.
AIT Bangalore offers Bachelors of Engineering in twelve specialisations. For admission, the candidate should have cleared Class 12 with 45% marks. English should be a mandatory subject. Candidates are selected based on a valid KCET or ComedK Scores, followed by Counselling. The total fees for this four-year programme ranges from Rs 4.7 lakhs to Rs 10.6 lakhs, based on the specialisation. Besides BE, AIT Bangalore courses include MTech, MBA and MCA. AIT Bangalore admissions are entrance-based.
Scholarships at AIT Bangalore are granted to undergraduate and postgraduate students, both. These scholarships are awarded based on their merit, and their economic background. The institute gives a 50% fee concession to the first child, and 25% to the second child of a very poor family.
