My JEE rank was not so good, so better option was engineering colleges in Karnataka. So I gave COMED-K exam. I got 111/180. Subjects syllabus was same as JEE-Mains but bit easy and more theoretical. I secured AIR 9203. I went for counseling then, I got EEE stream in BIT college. At my time, BIT was in 4th rank under COMED-K engineering colleges. The bad aspects of BIT is that there was no proper campus, there was only two buildings. No sports ground, nothing well facilitated complexes. It really lacked in cultural activities, co-curricular activities. Also, partiality was the big disadvantage while studying because professors used to give unwanted advantage to local people. Also placement cell work was medicore for bringing Good core companies and well reputed companies related to Electronics and Electrical branches. The good aspects was teaching was really good, course coverage was good and regarding academics continuous exposure used to provided.

I was admitted to this college through PGCET and the first round cutoff was arround 720-800. The kea fee was 69,900 and the college tution fee was 46000. We have to pay a total of 1,15,000 per year for MCA

I joined this college through comedk rank which was around 21k. I choose this college as this was the best college available as per my rank. This was what I thought but actually better colleges are available at this rank like NIE Mysore. I will say BIT is a bit overrated

the main factor which i choose this college was the rank which i gain through the KCET exam and that time this college was on rank 5 of tier 3 college in bangalore and the fees was also less compare to the other private college

I solely choose this college for the good placement and for the city too as Bangalore is known as tech hub so It will be easy to the placement activities and the company have larger and strong contact with the bit but it's the same all in every tier three college as they have some few companies which they have link but others are all based on the skills

there were three rounds of counselling involved before joining this college through K-CET where they allocate the colleges and after reaching this college they took an interview about myself and about the education

No, while joining this college I didn't really go through any kind of group discussion or interviews as such although we had to write KCET exam . And comming to the faculty there are few teachers who genuinely want to help u study but many professors are just there for their salary.

Placement and education no interview no group discussion you have to write kcet or comedk exam then you can go through counselling and take admission or else you go through management and take admission

This was the only tier 1 college available for me which had my required course other than that I had heard a lot about this college so I joined it if I were to join any other college I would join rv or bums I studied for iit and didn't get it so I had to settle for thise to give

Though we have a very tiny campus, the alumni’s n the college reputation is what made me apply for the college. Its good placements review also was a factor for me to choose it. I had written kcet exam n during the third counselling round i was alloted this college.
