My admission was through West Bengal Joint Entrace Exam (WBJEE) I got a rank of 2195 Got electrical department at first And then changed to electronics department through decentralised counselling. I could get Information Technology dept. but I had my preference.

The faculty professor are very good here. Mostly in Computer Science and Engineering department, the head of Department is very friendly with the students and is also very good talker. Also in each class, the condition is very good

KGEC is one of the best government engineering college in West Bengal. The internal culture of this college is charming, and the academic of this college is very good, but the infrastructure of this college is good but need improvement in certain areas. The hostel building's infrastructure is old, the maintenance of the campus is poor. To admission in this college the students have to clear and secure a good rank in WBJEE conducted by WBJEEB.

The main reason I choose this college is this is Government college with fee and good return of invoice the admission criteria is simple if your WBJEE rank is between 1500-5000 you are eligible for admission no group discussion or interview required

Placements and tecahing faculty are the best as most of our teaching faculty are all doctorate profiles with much experice to be called masters in their fields and as well as their teaching ability of teaching all of us in the best possible manners.

KGEC is a government college and offers extremely good higher studies in abroad as well as in various IITs also offers good placement but infrastructure is not quite good. To get admission into KGEC student has to appear for WBJEE and cutoff goes really high for KGEC general student has to rank under 1000 for upper branches I really had to study hard to get into KGEC

I got good reviews from my School Teachers and it is a highly recommended college in westbengal for those students who prefer government engineering college over the private ones , This is the 2nd best engineering college in west bengal after jadavpur university for placement and gate examination

According to my WBJEE rank I searched the colleges that I can apply for and I was eligible for this college. My college is the third top most college in west bengal so that gave me a reason to get admission

Several factors are important to choose a good college in my career alwaysany point of view consider to admission in my college like reputation so college reputation is a vital role play to choose the college like college previous history college placement previous passout history college allumniny relation to better improve to the college so this thinks only not consider to a good college criteria like many points should include like college faculty expertise college nirf ranking college extra curricular activities like many others technical and non technical clubs will also consider to many technical events participation and many others think like college internship oppourtunities college transportation faculty etc also will considered. And second question answered is only kto entire this college to the basis of WBJEE and JELET exam and also in mastered course PRE GATE and JECA entrance test exam.
