GCT Coimbatore offers Undergraduate courses under different disciplines such as B.Tech / B.E and also various Postgraduate and doctoral courses such as ME / M.Tech along with M.S and Ph.D. course.

  • B.E admissions are done through TNEA scores and based on their rank candidates can select the courses. To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed class 12th with physics, chemistry, and mathematics, as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks. 
  • M.E admission at GCT Coimbatore is offered on the basis of the TANCET exam. Admission to M.E is also offered to GATE qualified candidates. Candidates must have completed graduation or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 50% marks from a recognized institute or university 
  • For Ph.D. and M.S. admission, the selection is done on the basis of a merit list prepared by Anna University on the basis of merit secured in previous qualifying exams.
