Placement Experience:

Placements do take place on campus goes around 4.5lpa on average and if you upskill yourself you may crack some of the best package by off campus. That completely depends on your capability. I can't say much about the percentage of students getting placements.

UIT BU Review..

What I Liked

Enough classrooms, friendly professor s and seniors . Labs are good . Curriculum is also nice like the regular AICTE

What I didn’t like

Campus is small , not so big. Placements should be better.

Placement Experience:

2023 placements are very good. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Tata elxsi, Borosil etc visits the oncampus placements. But 2024 placements are not so good. Average package is about 4.5 lakhs. Money students did further studies by giving the gate exam.

Internships Opportunities:

Yeah I got an internship in the metro railway during my 2nd year, but due to some issues I can't able to do that. But college also provide students internships. Some professors also helps to grab internship.

UIT Burdwan review

What I Liked

The faculty of Computer science department is good compared to other departments.
In this college it is easy to become smart compared to other colleges as the students strength is low here and it boosts confidence which is necessary in life.

What I didn’t like

The college is full with politics better to avoid any kind of protest or political activities.
The college authority or we can say the head of our college is very lazy to maintain the campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college depends on only and only you.The college doesn't give a shit to provide placement. If you have enough skills then you can get placement with packages like 3 lpa 4lpa max it depends on your ability.

Internships Opportunities:

As I am in my second year so I haven't opted for any internship. To get internship here in this college depends on students if they want to take internship then apply on your own otherwise college is not going to provide any kind of internship.

Reality check of Government colleges

Placement Experience:

eligibility criteria for sitting in placements are decided as provided by the respective company usually it is minimum 75% and no active backlogs. few recruiters are HPL, corelynx technologies, DeltaX, Semifront technologies, Pinnacle infotech etc. heighest package offered is 9LPA offered by HPL and average package is 3.5LPA on an average around 75-80% students are placed.

Internships Opportunities:

for internships you are on your own whether you do paid or unpaid it is upto you college doesn't interfere or help you in getting placements. projects are started from 7th sem mentors are assigned on the basis of lottery systems.

Think Twice Before Deciding a College

What I Liked

Our college provides the environment through constant challenges and barriers which students learn to overcome and thus learn about life.
The hostels being inside campus, students engage in extracurriculars regularly.

What I didn’t like

Our college should use the development fees properly as there are severe construction flaws throughout the campus.
our college should address to student problems more.

Placement Experience:

The placement hiring company for placement associated with our college is Next Gen Ventures . The placement process starts from 7th semester of our course and our alumni have been placed in significant companies like TCS, EY, Cognizant, Aerotech and Keyence. This year till now companies like Bravistech, Semifront Technologies have appeared for recruiting in campus.

Internships Opportunities:

There are no specific internships provided by our college. However interested students can freely apply to any internship they want and the teachers will guide them and inform about more internships as well.

My experience at University Institute of Technology, BU

What I Liked

The faculties are well qualified and teach well. Campus is big and spacious.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure could be better. No proper sports ground is available. Campus life is tedious and opportunities are limited.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities could be listed as decent. Mostly mass recruiters come for placements. However with a good cgpa and required industrial skills, one may expect much better opportunities. Going for masters after course completion is a better option in my opinion.

Internships Opportunities:

Opted for a few internships (mostly unpaid) particularly for obtaining the required skills. Internship opportunities are not good and mostly one has to apply outside for the same. One can expect this to change in the upcoming years.

Review of UIT, BU

What I Liked

I like the cultural activities. Cultural activities are happened in every program like Saraswathi puja , Vishwakarma puja , teacher's day, fest, farewell etc. I
Faculties are very helpful and good , professors are pretty good.

What I didn’t like

You will not get too much of that campus life.
The infrastructure and management are not good.

Placement Experience:

Previous year 25 + companies came to our college. I don't know the exact GPA that is required but I guess it will be above 7 and 8 cgpa, no backlogs are allowed. In pool camp using backlogs is allowed, for further details, you follow the official LinkedIn page of UIt bu placement cell.

Internships Opportunities:

You will get many unpaid / paid internship offers from many groups and many technical institutes, average stipend is 5000 to 6000. Many training institute and private institutes also offers some internships.

What I Liked

I liked about the campus and facilities practical experience,
the faculties gives you the syllabus based project to apply your theoretical knowledge into practical

What I didn’t like

In infrastructure is not well maintained
Few faculties are more focused on giving the back paper in the semester results

Placement Experience:

For the placement you must have skills and project and theoretical and practical knowledge otherwise you will not get placed. The average package depends on the department you are studying in it was approx 20000 lpa

Internships Opportunities:

I have done an internship on ROBOTICS at Kaday space technology Pvt Ltd, And IOT and automation internship from Pentech Pro Lab Pvt Ltd. I was offered an IOT Internship from ROBOMANTHAN PVT LTD in the Siliguri office with a stipend of 6000 but due to the semester exams I couldn't join the company

The college campus is not so big. But I would say u will enjoy the culture and people here.

The placement I would say is not that good, but if u work hard u will surely get placed. And u don't get any internship from college u have to do it on your own. And many of the students here prepare for the gate so that's also an option

What I Liked

I like it's main building and various types of tree's are there
There is also a ground in which we can play cricket

Placement is good as you know this is third tier college so you will get lower package but placement is still good but this year not so good due to recession. I am willing to do mtech or MBA after completing this course
