NMAT Admit Card 2026 Release Date

The admit card is available seven days before your scheduled NMAT test. Its release date therefore varies by appointment.

NMAT 2026 exam delivery runs from 2 November to 20 December. The examples above apply the seven-day rule to particular dates; there is no single card-release day for the whole test window.

If you have paid but have not chosen an appointment, complete NMAT slot booking first. Registration confirmation and a booked examination are not the same.

How to Download the NMAT Admit Card

1. Sign in to your NMAT account and open the Candidate Dashboard.
2. Check that the test appointment is confirmed.
3. Download the admit card when the seven-day release window begins.
4. Check the name, photograph, date, time and venue.
5. Print a fresh copy for the current attempt.

Keep the current appointment card separate from any earlier attempt. If you take a retake, download and print its own card even if the test centre is unchanged.

The NMAT date schedule covers the booking and retake windows. The admit card follows your individual booking within those windows.

Details to Check on the Admit Card

The name on the admit card must match the photo ID. The printed photograph should also be clear enough for staff to recognize you. A childhood image or a photograph that no longer resembles you can cause an entry problem.

If the photo is blank or unclear, email nmatsupport@gmac.com for help. A downloaded card should not be manually altered to change a name, photograph or appointment detail.

Documents Required at the NMAT Test Centre

Carry the printed admit card and one valid, original, non-expired photo ID from this list:

Learner's driving licences, photocopies whether attested or not, and notarized copies are not accepted. An ID with an old or unrecognizable photograph can also be rejected.

Candidates with disabilities must bring any additional document specifically required for their approved arrangement. The standard identity requirements still apply.

Without the required card and valid ID, or if staff cannot match your identity, entry can be refused and the examination fee is not refunded.

NMAT Reporting Time and Check-In

Reach the test centre at least 45 minutes before the appointment. Use the venue on the current admit card rather than an address saved for an earlier attempt.

After check-in, a workstation is allotted. The exam begins with a non-disclosure agreement screen. Accept it within two minutes to proceed. Refusing it again after the prompt, or allowing the acceptance time to expire, ends the attempt; staff cannot reverse that outcome.

You then choose the section order. Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning have separate timers, and time left in one section does not carry into another. The NMAT paper pattern explains those limits.

Admit Card Not Showing or Photo Not Clear

A booking confirmation email can help identify the appointment, but it does not replace the admit card at the centre. Keep the registration and appointment details ready when asking support about a missing card.

NMAT Retake Admit Card

Every attempt needs a fresh admit card. Reusing the first test's card for a different date can leave you with the wrong appointment or venue details.

For a completed attempt with a valid score, the next test must leave at least a seven-day gap. The new card is tied to that new appointment. The NMAT scorecard is a result document, not an exam-entry document.
