It is advisable for the NMAT candidates to begin preparations well ahead of the exam date. The right preparation strategy can help in cracking the exam and securing a seat in a Top B-School.

  1. Understand the Exam Pattern - First and foremost, check for the updated syllabus and exam pattern of NMAT 2025 Language Skills. Every year, there are small changes that are made in the pattern. Previous year 2 RC’s of 4 questions each were asked from the topic Gupta Period and Evolution Economy. Focus on skim reading, work on highlighting the ideas, and practice questions related to comprehension. Mark important points. Students should not take more than 30 seconds to answer a question so that they have 10-12 minutes to answer 8-10 reading comprehension. Before reading the comprehension first go through the questions and then start with the comprehension.
  7. Time Management – Practice section by section and keep a tab on the time for each section. Target to lower the time with every practice session. Focus on reading comprehension. Practice skim reading and highlight the main points and details.
