An Honest Review of [STCET]: Academics, Campus Life, and Beyond
Remarks :
I had given WBJEE exam which is held in West Bengal and after getting a suitable rank I applied in their counciling process. In there will be 3 round. You can change your college about your priority but in my case distance between this college and my home is less than others and I got selected in 1st round of counciling in this college and placement is quite good. So I choose this college and didn't do any upgradation further for the 2nd round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In present day you have the best job opportunity in engineering line. And choosing electronics department you can go for both hardware and software companies. It's all upto you. I have an interest in code and also circuit so I had chosen this btech degree in electronics and communication department. Some teachers are really good not everyone. And in our college teachers always take class test after finishing 1 module. So if you are serious you can get good marks in your semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
No now I am 2nd year student. We got internship from 3rd year. 3rd year student went out for industrial training in kalyani and jamshedpur. Of course this is non paid internship and only only for experience and for upgrading the skills to get placement.
Placement Experience :
The highest package 1 crore per annual in this year one of the seniors in electrical department get in off campus. 50% students get on campus placement and Cognizant, TCS and P360 etc companies hired freshers in on campus. The average package of placement is like around 5LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For every semester you have to give 63 thousand rupees but for the 1st semester only the fees is 90 thousand. If any student have twf certificate then for them this fees structure will be low and for the sc st category fees doesn't matter but their rank of competitive exam matters to get admission in this college.
Campus Life :
Campus is not so large comparing the others college but still tech fest cultural fest is conducted and not only that freshers, farewell also conducted by the seniors. There's no record of ragging in our college cause our assistant registrate professor is very disciplined and he wants to make us also disciplined. And the most important thing sports competition between every departments is always happen throughout the whole year. So you can enjoy every day in your college life with a little bit of discipline in our college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
