- There is a lack of decent amount of social life in the college and it should be required to rectify.
- The placements could have been much better compared to the college facility and more companies should be tied up.
Remarks :
Its nearby to my home so it's easy to travel. This college has a good reputation for career building and it is a very good college that gives a decently good placement at the end of the course. The teachers are nice an good facilities are there in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This college serves very good and high profile facilities and the faculty of the college is very appreciated. The teachers are very experienced and good. It is a ragging free college and is very strict and deciplined.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't yet opted any internship program . But as I have information the internship program for students are really good and they are helping eventually for there career. There are many companies that are giving and helping the students with it.
Placement Experience :
The college gives a huge support for any internship program for students so that they could gather plenty amount of experience for there career. Many seminars serves opportunity to grow interest in various internship programs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We need to pay 85000 as the first semester fees and admission fees and then per year we need to pay 130000 rupees as our tution fees. Additional exam fees are to be added and for basic requirement like manuals we need to pay seperately.
Campus Life :
Overall the campus is good it's old but have a good campus. It has a very large playground for games and sports. For any program it has an outdoor stage . The labs are not out dated and modern . Overall the campus is very nice
Hostel Facilities :
We don't have any hostel facility. But there are many options for hostel that are nearby the college. Many of the students are staying by paying a suitable amount of money. The security protection are also upto the mark.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
