Remarks :
To get admissions in this college you should have been passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics then a specific exam needed to give that is (WBJEE) West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination which is organized once in a year by West Bengal Board. In this exam the cutoff range is upto 10000 rank. Under this rank you will be eligible for having admission in this college. A diploma students can also get admission through a lateral entry test which is called JELET. It is also organized by West Bengal board once in a year and 20 percent of seats are reserved in every college for such Diploma passed out students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chosed B tech in electrical engineering course because I like this course. I have an interest in practicing electrical engineering courses. I wanted to know more and more related to electrical engineering. The faculty members are well qualified in their discipline, they are also well experienced in their field, many of the faculties were retired ex officers of different reputed organizations in their past life. Their experiences helps us to get more on practical real life knowledge in this field. Their teaching methods are also good. They teach very well with all clarifying and informational details as well as they have a good communication skills. Teachers are friendly towards the students. They are very helpful and always ought for us. All the teachers have great knowledge. There are mainly 3 exam taken during every single semester that are CA3 which is an internal exam in written mode another is CA4 taken in online mode. Financial assistance are also given to students.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't opted for any internships but the others students have done the internships mostly from the cognizant. Mostly the IT, CSE, AIML students are chosed and are opting for the internship in different reputed companies. They also get the stipend of 10 to 15k every month during internship.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for a student is that he/she should have passed all the semesters exams. A student should score over all 60% combining all semester exams. The companies visited like Mindtree, cognizant, infosys, TCS mostly and other IT companies. The highest package was 12lkh annually and low package of 5lakh annually. 60 to 70 percent of students are getting placed in every year. After getting the degree I planned to prepare for competitive exams for Govt. Jobs.
Campus Life :
The cultural fest named Reminiscence is organized every year in the month of March or april with joyful and enjoyingly. The food packets are also provided for the students. There is a central library in the college which is provided with many books aprox 40k in numbers as well as test papers are also provided of every semester of every branch. In annual sports the sports like football, cricket, badminton, chess, table tennis are played in the college campus. There are one boys club and one girls club are present in the college for the refreshment of students during break. Where they can play table tennis, carrom, chess. There one canteen where a student can get a full mill for lunch at low price with good quality.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
