- Infrastructure is decent, faculties are real 10/10
- Campus Life is also kinda decent apart from the too hot climate of this area.
Dislikes
- I dislike the location of the college since it's too far from the main town and is in outskirts.
- Since it's far from main towns, it lacks the spotlight and hence companies visit less.
Remarks :
I personally have JEE and through JOSAA allocation I got this college so yep since I'm interested in AI and graphics I decided to opt for this course and hence I joined this college, and now the college didn't seem to disappoint me.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It takes a lot to be on the perfection tier so yep I'll rate it 8/10 for the progress I've witnessed past 2 years and as per consulted to seniors, faculties and government have helped a lot in the development.
Internships Opportunities :
Nah, I haven't opted for any internship yep because I'm just in 2nd year. Ofc I look forward to doing internships on the third year but as of now, just regular skill development sessions and regular college studies.
Placement Experience :
The placement percentage of our food technology department is 100 Percent, but of our CSE branch, it has just been 1 year since this branch is introduced in the college so yep, on 2027 our batch is gonna be the first batch to pass out as a Computer Science Engineer. Over-all, the placement is decent but not that good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees is very minimal in comparison to other GFTIs whereas hostel and mess fees are additional, it will take near about 4 lac rupees in 4 years (near about) till the complition. On an average, it is very affordable, even students are given scholarships on basis of the family income and quota
Campus Life :
As per my branch of CSE, the faculty stuffs are awesome and very hard working in their field of subjects. Moreover they help us engage in various activities and encourage us for hackathons. I highly appreciate their interest they bring down on us.
Hostel Facilities :
Campus is really huge in size, lots of greenery, the main problem here is of the amount of humidity and high temperature, Malda is such a hot place so yep, environment remains very hot during summer months.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
