- As it is far way from town so it will be difficult to take something from outside
- Placement is average , you need to work on your skills by yourself
Remarks :
Honestly, I came through jossa counseling in year 2022 , but there are two exams through which you can enter into this college Jee Wbjee And for diploma students who want to get admission they came through other exams You need to carry all the documents during admission hardly it will take to 2to3 days for this process to be complete
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have taken here admission on my jee rank Overall all the department faculty are good and have decent experience Teaching method are also good they will teach you from basic so overall faculty and Teaching are absolutely fine Moving towards wxam see basically this college came under MAKAUT university so according to it per semester there are 4 CA and 2 PCA exams in which CA 1 you have to prepare presentation CA 2 you have to prepare for report Basically these two CA's are scoring out of 25 Moving towards other two CA which is CA 3 is written exam whatever you syllabus has been covered CA 4 is cbt based from university These two CA s are not quite scoring if you study well and knowledge of your syllabus then you are good to go for this but if you have not prepared well then you loose exam After this 2 PCA are there in which your attendance is mandatory as it is also attendance based After this semester exam are there and admit card released by makaut university.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done an internship but I have applied offcampus but in college they will give you internship or training based in month of July which is summer internship or in month of January which is winter internship but every departments provide you this bit you can't get stipend it is only unpaid internship
Placement Experience :
Cgpa would be greater then 5 cgpa means 7 cgpa + with no backlogs to be eligible to seat for the placement . Overall placement is good like average don't expect too much Avg package will be 3.5lpa Highest 7 to 8lpa Every student will be seating for placement out of which 30 students get placed this year My plans are not made yet but planning something new is on the way
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees, caution fees ,lab fees,library fees is all over 12000 to 13670 For even semester Fees is 12370 For general /ews For TWF it will be nearly ?9000 For odd semester Fees is 13670 TWF 7000 nearly Scholarships are there but you have to apply and your scoring is nearly 7.5 cgpa with no backlogs to Bea eligible for an Scholarship Scholarship will be provided by state government as well as central government For other state students you need to apply for central government scheme For home state they will apply through state government scheme
Campus Life :
Overall campus is good only one thing is not good that this college is away from main town Yes , this college has also fest named as kristitarang which will held every year in month of March Apart from this Techfest and annual sports are also there All the clubs are there like robotics club,art club, entrepreneurship cell, debate club etc. As it is a central government college so whenever central schemes or competition will came it will be held in this college Overall extra curriculum activity are there and you have chance to win awards.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel so can't know about the facilities . But I admission time I have got to know that 6000 rupees is rent for 6 months of your hostel and mess food charges will be depend upon the cycles per semester Registration process is simple and easy you have to submit the documents and room will be alloted to you

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
