- The campus is peaceful overall, people generally keep to themselves and don't bother others.
- The seniors are quite helpful and knowledgeable. They will help you out in case of anything. Overall the college is quite welcoming and friendly, some of the faculties are quite decent and know their subjects
Dislikes
- The recent pressure on attendance has created a lot of problems , the students cannot complete internship or anything else. They can't work on skill development as well. They are not awarded proper marks inspite of submitting the assignment this has created a huge problem
- Some of the faculties aren't that great or understanding and can't even teach their subjects properly. Don't expect the college to actually teach you the subjects thoroughly, you would have to do that on your own
Remarks :
This college has a decent record of placement and was quite old as in institution , there was no pressure on attendance and the place record was overall quite decent. When i visited i liked the environment as there was no ragging or anything of that sort.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This college follows makaut curriculum and exams are conducted by makaut . The overall correction process is quite messed up and not transparent . People are awarded backlogs at a much higher rate and you need thousand rupees to reappear for a backlog paper.
Internships Opportunities :
College won't help to look for internship in any regard, you have to figure that out yourself . I. The recent times they might not give you non objection certificate. And even not give out proper marks in ca exams , because of which you will suffer in semester exams
Placement Experience :
The placement scenarios are quite twisted as this year the tpo didn't allow cognizant to recruit there first. This created a huge mess. Moreover departments like ece , cse and most other departments as well refused to give noc to students who bagged an internship
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
5,50,000 is the total fees of my degree, however each year that has increased by one Lakh. And thr current fees is 7,50,000 lakh. Although the fees has been increasing the infrastructure not so much. Some of the classrooms don't even have proper fans.
Campus Life :
The campus life is quite decent as there is no ragging or unnecessary bothering anyone. The clubs are very active and you can choose to take part in events there . Also the seniors are friendly and will try to help you out always when you need it.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facilities available, people like in pgs. People generally line in pogs by sharing. They share with 2-3 people depending on the room size. The rooms aren't of standard tbh, some choose to stay in apartments after the first year but that is a bit expensive

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria College

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Review of my collage
Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
