My Personal Opinion for Netaji Subhash Engineering College
Remarks :
I heard that NSEC is known for it's good placement system, many companies come to this college and it's a good college to learn Computer Science. But my personal opinion is if a student is from other branch like Mechanical or electrical...they should not choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As everyone knows the current situation of the job market. I chose BTech so that I can get any job. NSEC has a good infrastructure for learning computer science. The faculty is good and teachers are helpful. There is gap of around 6 months between 2 semesters. Exams are easy . Only thing you need to do is study.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship. Some companies like Bentley offered for internships. Time period is 6 months and the salary is 25 thousand per month. Some of my friends got internship offers but I didn't get any. So I don't know much about the internships
Placement Experience :
Minimum 65% in 10th and 12th board exam and above 7 CGPA in all semester. This is the minimum eligibility. Btw I am not placed yet but I'm trying my best. Already TCS, Cognizant, Fractal, Deloitte, Sasken, Bentley,Tiger analytics and many more companies have come to the college. Many students are placed now. Minimum 3 to 5 LPA is average package for freshers. My plan is to get a job from on campus placement drive, otherwise I'll try for off campus drive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't know much about the scholarships and all because I don't get any as my father was a governor employee. But I heard about some scholarships from My roommates like Swami vivekananda scholarship etc. I don't take any tuition. Every semester I have to pay 56,500 rs and during exam, 1200 for exam form.
Campus Life :
College campus is good. Every year departmental fests take place. There are many clubs like phoenix, Eco cultural club etc. Every year Zest, a sport event, takes place. Sports like badminton, table tennis, Chess, Carrom is held. Overall the faculty is good
Hostel Facilities :
There is no college hostel but mess and hostels of private owners are available near the college. Pg or hostel is available in affordable price. Food quality is ok. I mean foods will not be always tasty but it'll be good for health and that is important in student life. Previously I lived in a hostel and now me and my roommates have taken a flat near college. Fees is same. Per person 2650/month

BCREC A ENGINEERING COLLEGE
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Mathematics at JU

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
