Remarks :
The college asks for WBJEE / JEE MAIN rank only and if you want you can take admission vai management quota. The cutoffs were generally very low compared to top private colleges but management quota is very expensive it generally starts with 100%-150% of the course fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course is completely related to CSE all the important subjects of CSE is present in this course on top of that It have some business related subjects too like economics , business management etc. also this course is originated by TCS which provides a major hand on placements too.

Campus Life :
Before 2023 fest were used to be huge but after JU'S incident college management have totally shutdown the departmental fests but conducts a massive fest with all the departmental called mesmrizer , Eco cultural group generally arrange this fest.
Hostel Facilities :
In our college no hostels are available however there is a say for 2 years that management is planning for a hostel. Now if anyone have to stay nere college area he/she have to rent a flat or pg or mess , the prices were a decent and i would say affordable compared to other college area and rooms are available in every building don't have to worry for the same .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Mathematics at JU
Placement Experience :
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
