Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is computer science and engineering. All faculties have a very good educational background. They have PhD from IIT's or a very renowned institute. Many internal exams and assessments are there for whole through the sem.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies offers internship like Accenture, Wipro etc.They also provide a good stipen. Many projects have to be done and also personal projects are authorised by college faculty.Also have a good placement cell.
Placement Experience :
Very good campus placement.If campus placement is not offered, employability after the course will depend on factors like individual skills, internships, and networking. Students often explore alternative routes, such as applying to jobs through online platforms, attending job fairs, or leveraging professional networks.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's more than 1lac per year. 60 to 70 thousand tution fees and also some scholarship are available in college . Also have 0 tution fees for TFW candidates. General catagory have to pay same fees.Also government scholarships are there.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is good. Library have a good collection of books and many research related magazines.Groups like coding club are also here. Ragging free and a very good environment is there. Also NCC is available for interested students.

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
