Likes
- The college has the best faculty with great knowledge and experience. They are really very helpful and thier guidance helps a lot during the exam.
- The college uses technology every where like classroom and library. For example The id card has a special bar code for each and every student which is used for entry and exit in library.
- The college maintains a very well discipline and ragging free campus with a proper student license officer.
Dislikes
- The college lacks behind the field of sports and it should have some sort of sports activity.
- The college should have a proper and we'll maintained road in the front or entrance of the college.
Remarks :
The main reason for me to choose this college was that I my hometown is 200km from Kolkata and in West Bengal JDBI is amongst the top designing colleges with the best faculty and placement along with the best environment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I belong from a business background and therefore after my graduation I'll join my family and hence I chose this course. The interior designing department has one of the best faculties with the most experienced and understanding teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
The college has tie up with different organization and it provides internship. Organization like My Captain have made agreement with the college to provide internship to the students and help them learn and earn at the same time.
Placement Experience :
The college offers placement opportunities to students from the 4th year. Companies like Deloitte , godrej , pepperfry, EY , pwc, etc are invited to offer placement opportunities. The highest package goes around 7 LPA and lowest around 3 LPA. Roughly all the students gets placed after their interview but most of the students in the college are from business background. So, most of the students join their family businesses.

Campus Life :
The campus of JDBI is just amazing with all air conditioned classrooms , projectors installed in each class , many social groups are also organised and a library with reference to each and everything. The college organises an annual function every year in the month of December. Just the college lacks in the field of sports as the college has near to zero sports activities.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
