- Campus Life over our university and faculties or the teachers are very much helpful and caring.

- University needs to focus on building more labs with latest and well equipped technologies
- Faculties are good but not always relatable to the way we want things to learn.
Remarks :
This university provides for the best knowledge in each and every field or subjects it taughts.It is one of the most renowned and oldest universities present in west bengal. Written admission test are not required for admission into this university.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen Masters in Biochemistry because I wanted to gain and elevate my level of knowledge regarding biological sciences and prepare myself for contributing into future research programmes. Faculties over here are tremendously good and helpful. Semester exams are held every six months.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done an internship or dissertation programme in IISER Kolkata and our department provides for the opportunity to join in an internship for the completion of our masters thesis and generally these kind of internships are non paid
Placement Experience :
No placements or job opportunities are provided for the students in general and no such offers are present for job purposes.In our department no recruiters have visited so far for providing jobs. My plans after getting degree is to join the industrial sector providing jobs to biological sciences students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees-1200, registration fees-100, admission fees-150, development fees-250, Laboratory fees-600, Library and computer fees-400, examination fees-1200. Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship is received by the students for the tenure of 2years giving 30000 per year.
Campus Life :
Fests are conducted every year in our department for the purpose of entertainment of the students generally in the month of December. Amenities in the classroom are very good and access to library for books and journals is also very much helpful.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel facility,but our university also provides for hostel facility to both boys and girls with the utmost maintanence of security and privacy and is also very much affordable. I stayed in ITI more at a PG near my university locality.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
