- The entire college life demands the free time we get for our character development, and more, the college gives us a very healthy environment to make progress in our lives.
- The college infrastructure is very good and well known I got some great seniors and batsmates that I want to remain in my life.
Dislikes
- There is poor quality of Internet connection we have in our computer labs and also we have some old computer machineries in our laboratory
- Sometimes there are some of classes that remain as free time so we cant utilise that time in something new
Remarks :
The the admission process The admission process is conducted by the WBJEE board. The examination Is usually conducted in the month of April. After the results came, students had to appear in the counseling process. According to their rank, they got the suitable college for them with their course. In my case, I got this college, the University of Kalyani, and opted for electronics and communication engineering. The cutoff for the examination varies. According to the year. Though you may have to score 7-8k rank. To get selected in this college. I eventually didn't prepare for this examination. I was just doing my self-studies and my 12th together and for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have an interest in electronics, so I pursued with this course. I had a dream to become an engineer ;And this university is making my dream come true. There are many teachers in our department. who are not very knowledgeable and very cooperative with us. They made us clear every single topic according to our syllabus. and they are very qualified and frank in their behavior with us ,So its easy to cooperate with them.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for course in a goverment college is very low . We can pay the fees semester wise or annually if we want to. The total fees of my this year was rs. 18,160 though I availed tfw through the whole process by wbjee authorization so I got additional tutuion fee exemption . There's no exemption for quotas as far as I know . There's only one exemption on tfw. This was my fee structure of this year. Students can apply for both private and government scholarships by the criteria. I personally applied and granted svmcm scholarship .
Campus Life :
The college campus is very big. We have total number of 4 canteens to have our needs. The college also has a central library at the center of the university. There are. multiple sports grounds students can play both indoor and outdoor games. in their off classes. The department or the college union. mainly hosts two events, such as the fresher's party and the reunion party. There are total number of three clubs we have. One is the coding club. Another is ham radio. And we also have a robotics club. Participating club students have to additionally give examinations for their clubs to make the order as students of our department has facility to avail two computer labs, 1 electronics lab and one separate clubhouse.
Hostel Facilities :
We have total number of four hostels for students one is girls hostel separated and another three are boys hostels the Food and Miss Quality is very good students may have personal rooms from their second year we have to pay for the hostel once a year and we also have to pay back then for the food charge.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
