- I like the canteen area and the pond area more in my college campus.
- Hostel Life is fun and I like the hostel facilities provided to us which is very much affordable.
Dislikes
- The wifi facilities aren't that good,there is no good connection.
- The lift needs to be repaired whenever there's any problem in it.
Remarks :
My seniors and my batchmates suggested me to join this college because it was preferable and comparatively better in placement factors and faculty factors. You can definitely join here through JEE or WBJEE exam results. the cutoff differs every year .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I found this course a bit different and curious. This includes computer science and also teaches us business strategies. Exams are taken on regular basis. Slot tests and weekly surprise tests are also taken to build our confidence.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet, but soon looking for internship opportunities and our college provide amazing internships for students to open up properly. Projects will be given by the college professors with requires completion on regular basis.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are very well. Recruiters like Accenture, wipro, cognizant, Microsoft, Google and many others. The average package is 30000 per annum. I would definitely try for the on campus placement facilities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first semester the fee was 73800 the second semester the fee was 61500 the third semester the fee is 69100 and accordingly the fee increases semester wise in the range between 60000 to 80000. This includes the tuition fee the admission fee the development fee and all other fees mentioned.
Campus Life :
Campus area includes a peaceful pond area with cool soothing breeze, a big playground for us to play, a volleyball court and a cricket area for us to play. There are different clubs for curricular activities like art club, dance club, public speaking club, photography club and many more to showcase our true selves.
Hostel Facilities :
The food in the hostel mess is quite good. You can easily opt for a hostel by filling the hostel form in the college cell. The hostels are affordable and they provide wifi facilities, food facilities, water facilities and mainly the safety.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
