Remarks :
In overall the college infrastructure is outstanding. The teachers are very much cooperative. The college building is totally coverd by AC. We need to give one online exam before the admission. And after that the college will sent you the admission letter
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty member are highly qualified. Some of the facilities had their degree from abroad. The teachers are very good in their teaching style. We have two exams in each semester -internal and end term examination, which is held in the middle of the semester and end of the semester respectively. Question papers are moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am studying in 2nd year so i have not enrolled myself in any kind of internship. But our HOD sends various internship program in our Official group. If any one interested can join the internship program.
Placement Experience :
Placement are more or less good. Last the highest package was 35 Lakh per annum. For getting a good placement one should maintain his/her CGPA above 8 and must have the skills and proper knowledge on that particular course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually we pay our fees semester wise: 1st and 2nd sem-117000 3rd and 4th sem-123000 5th and 6th sem-129000 7th and 8th sem-135000 For those who took admission on scholarship basis they had a maximum of 30% off. And after one year based on student CGPA they get discount upto 30%. Student can also apply for government scholarship like SVMCM, etc.
Campus Life :
Various fest are organised by our college. Amiphoria is the annual fest organised by our college. Rather than that some small fest are also organised. A huge library is present which can be accessed by everyone and can spent their time by reading wide range of books. Different clubs are present and student can participate according to their performances. Event club,sports club,IT club,etc. Various games like football, volleyball, badminton, cricket, etc are played in our college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
