AMITY UNIVERSITY KOLKATA is best university in the whole bengal as it has a great infrastructure, placements management as well as a great status. Choosing Amity University Kolkata was my best decision after 12th
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've chosen BCA H/R as I'm very much interested in coding and computers. Exams are taken per 6th month. There are a lot of internal works besides of written marks. The faculty are quite good and responsible.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't. But I know my brothers who are doing internship very well the get paid good enough. Some are so great that they have cracked google and Amazon. Our college also focus on business they are very supportive
Placement Experience :
Placements are very good. There are a lot of hiring companies like google Amazon TCS. There are a lot of departments they all have different placement cell. Some students get placement in third year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is ok. At the time of admission, around 90k is required and sem wise varies from 67k to 77k. The way Amity provides the quality the fees is very much affordable. Amity never supports BRIDE as Techno University do
Campus Life :
First thing which attracted me in Amity was it's great architecture and infrastructure. Everyone here is very much friendly and there are a lot of events celebrated like Freshers Mahalaya Amiphoria DJ night. There are a lot of clubs like dancing singing sports photography cinema etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I've not opted for hostel, but the hostel is is very good complete centralised AC Wifi lifts with 24/7 guards. Hostellers can order anything online from blinkit Amazon etc. but they are not allowed to go outside the campus without their guardian's permission which is quite good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
