- Library has a wide collection of books and you will be getting any book which you are searching.
- There are some air conditioned classrooms in each floor of our college.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is decent enough not up to the mark
- Cafeteria is also very small. Which is a cons here.
Remarks :
This college is one of the finest private college in kolkata. And as the fees structure is way too affordable. This was one of the major factor why I choose this college. But after joining I don't have any sort of regrets.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have interest in learning Artificial intelligence so I opted for this course. The faculties here are very knowledgeable and qualified they provide us with good notes. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship yet but I will be opting for it in next year or next semester. Capgemini, cognizant, wipro and tata consultancy and services are major companies which offer an intern to us.
Placement Experience :
The highest placement of our college is 32 lpa, lowest is 3 lpa and an average of 6 lpa. With a decent placement percentage which is 80%.There is a high chances of you getting atleast an offer. If you haven't got any on campus placement you can try for off campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure of this course is ?550000 and duration is 4 years which comes to ?137500 annually. If you are having a west bengal residential certificate and belongs to minor category then there is a high chance of you getting scholarship.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very decent here. As you will not getting a huge campus here. Tecnotkarsh is our sports club which conducts sports events 2 times a year. And ankuran is one of the finest club which comes up with a bang every year.
Hostel Facilities :
No I haven't opted for a hostel but my friends are there and they told me that the mess food and the infrastructure of hostel is okay okay types. If you are opting for a PG or room then kestopur is one of the finest location with affordable price of rooms and PG.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
