Remarks :
I wrote WBJEE examination and by WBJEE counselling I got this college. Lot of my friende, relatives told me about this college that this is a above average college and has good placements. According to my experience the college is really good having good number of opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is so relevant and can make students industry ready. Overall academics is good. The teachers are qualified, knowledge and helpful. Senior teachers are PhD holders from NIT and junior teachers are persuing PhD. The exams are held semester wise and difficulty level of the exam is between moderate to difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides decent number of internship opportunities. I have opted an unpaid internship from a startup named CODTECH IT SOLUTIONS. In this internship my role was a full stack developer. I made many projects there like Tasker, A responsive social media platform, a blogging platform, a chatbot with the help of python, a password manager application etc.
Placement Experience :
Any student who has maintained 8 pointer after 3rd year are eligible for placements. The placement cell of the College is active and due to strong alumini network it provides good number of opportunities of placements. Last year many startups and big companies came here and the top recruiter companies were TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Reliance, Cognizanto, PWS, Infosys etc. If my college won't offer campus placement then I will go to office campus placement. Till 3rd year I will upgrade mt skills to industry level and build many complex projects and I will apply for internships in MAANG companies. I will also work with start-ups.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So the total fees for AI -ML course in this college is 6.05L for 4 years. At the time of admission 80k is required and 5k extra for books, uniform, bag. After this they charge around 75k each semester and there are some additional fees too like registration fees i.e. 2.7k and examination fees etc. Some seats are also reserved for management quota and it costs around 8-9L for 4 years. The college doesn't provide any scholarship to students but it provides facility of Bihar credit card for some courses (Not for AI-ML).
Campus Life :
Overall campus life is good. There are many clubs inside the college and they organises many big fests in the college. One of the biggest fest of Kolkata Anchronos, a cultural fest organised by our cultural club. Many celebrities came in this event in past years like Harrdy Sandhu, Monali Thakur, Shilpa Rao etc. but the college infrastructure is too small which is in only 3-4 acres. AC is not available in classes, available in only few classes. The college has rich labs, rich library, some smart classes. College has its own ground.
Hostel Facilities :
The college hasn't its own hostel so students need to opt PGs near the college. There are many PGs around 3km of college and they provide food 2 times for 5 days and in weekends they provide food 3 times. Food quality is good.The hostel is costs around 7.5k per month

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
