- Actually I belong to a middle class family so I don't have that much money to spend on my degree so if you are not that capable for property year to colleges like manipal Manipal and all so you can get here if you have a decent WBJEE rank.
- The infrastructure of our college compared to other colleges in West Bengal is quite good because most of the colleges in West Bengal have a school like infrastructure but our college at least provide some good point such as ground badminton court sports culture fest culture several club etc
Dislikes
- There is several waterlogging around the college so if there is severe in your face water clogging in the area and the drainage is not that good here
- Most of the faculties are good but some of them are not that good because they use ethnic language that is Bengali to understand the subjects but if you are not from West Bengal you will not understand anything
Remarks :
Basically my budget was not very high for the college and I didn't get any good college to my JEE rank so I opted for this college with my JEE rank that is around 87% tile. The everything about my college is almost average means everything the fees and the infrastructure are average according to fees as its three pieces is very nominal I think that's why you can enjoy the overall curriculum as for your fees and structure the infrastructure is quite average but if you compare the colleges in kolkata it is well enough for you to study
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the scores because I was getting this electronic and communication engineering and the college I want computer science and information technology branch but I didn't get that so I opted for this and according to my rank it is what I am getting the quality of the teachers are both their food their bad sometimes but you have to study on your own if you are going to college just for the attendance and the qualification of teachers are there almost PHD all the teachers are almost PhD some of them are masters and the exams kind of fine if you study one month before exams every subject you will get good marks
Internships Opportunities :
Actually I am still in my 3rd year so that not much opportunities for me in my college to get an internship the internship opportunities are startting from the from the first of final year that is 4th year you will get a bunch of companies for internships in the starting of the fourth year and the roles offered maybe of system engineer software development engineer associates software developer SDE 1 ETC AND I HAVE MADE SOME FULL STACK PROJECTS BUT I AM PREPARING FOR INDUSTRY READY PROJECTS SO THAT I CAN GET GOOD PACKAGE FROM MY COLLEGE.
Placement Experience :
There are mostly frankly speaking there are mostly service companies which gives you package of around 3.5 to 5 lakh but you want to get a good company from your placements you have to be on tier one college and upper tier 2 college. From this college you have to know that the company are quite low I mean it's not that you will not get good placements here but it totally depends upon your caliber. The eligibility criteria is around above 7 CGPA many companies like Wipro TCS Infosys cognizant deloit etc and the highest packages around 10 lakh and lowest packages around 3 lakhs the average package is around 4 to 5 lakh in percentage of student getting place depends upon the branch if it is a technical branch you will get more than 80% of the students please but if it is a core branch you can expect around 50%
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees of my course is 5.5 lacs and almost 1.4 lakh year. The tuition pieces about 1.3 lakh and 10000 for the other thing for one yearand I am from the general category. The fees of all the branches of the bachelors in technology is same and there are many financial scholarships for the students in West Bengal such as Swami Vivekananda scholarship but you have to be from Bengal to get approved in the amount is they are getting is 60000 a year and fees increasing for new students every year from my juniors the fees is around 700000 this year
Campus Life :
The campus life is just okay there many clubs of photography phoenix the technical club and many other clubs but they are quite small and we have annual fest every year that is called mesmerized and the libraries the library is kind of good if you want your curriculum books you can get easily there to the sports and extra curricular activities are there too but you get to have foods and extra curricular activities only when there is a festival function.
Hostel Facilities :
There are no hostels in this college students are mostly are from local areas and and most of the students are from outside West Bengal so there are no causes we have to rent a PG or a mess miss for your living and it is quite affordable there because I think if you take 7 to 8000 amount from your home it will be well enough for you to survive there so that's all and there are no hostels the cost of living in that area is right normal it is not very high or very low.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
