Dislikes
- The most worst thing in our college is the necessity of 75% attendance inspite of being a private college and no holidays on festivals , gives very less holidays.
- The class timings which is from 9:15 to 4:30 everyday.
Remarks :
I choose this college because it was providing me the course of my interest and there is a small entrance test online to get admissions. The 12th marks matters for admission process. There is not any kind of tough entrance process just online video you have to post recording yourself with the questions asked.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties here are PhD degree holders and very qualified. Teaching methods depends on different individuals some of them teaches so well and some of them are average. There are two exams per semester one is midsems and other is endsems for both of them practicals exams are also conducted.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes in the end of the 4th sem we did a intership with no stipend it was just an observational training. We were free to choose the organisation we want to work and also we can work in the campus. I did my internship in my hometown at Tata Main Hospital which was a great experience.
Placement Experience :
In my course at bsc level there is no placements or internships. Only internships we can do is with faculties in the campus itself, we can assist them in the work they are doing but we can select our interest of work and can go to the faculty who is working on a topic which is of our interest.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first sem fee was 85k including security deposit and then 62k in second sem and in third sem it was 72 and same. For sem 4,5, and 6. And there is no scholarships in terms of caste but if your score is good in 12th you can get the scholarship and even you can continue the scholarship by maintaining around 9 cgpa in college semester results. All the students pay the same fees except the scholarship one's as I mentioned above on the basis of their results.
Campus Life :
The social life is good and campus infrastructure is also good. Annual fest is conducted named amiphoria and one more sports events is Sangathan in which many sports are held selected students go to amity University, Noida also for representing Amity University Kolkata so this is event is a great thing here. There are so many clubs dance club, sports club , culinary club , events club and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
No I'm not a hosteler but it is also good I know because mt friends stay in hostel . But I personally will never chose hostel because of the restrictions and one major reason is that they tell to vacate the rooms every semester like with all your belongings and in every semester the room and roomate changes so I don't like this system.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
