Remarks :
Yes we had to sit for an admission test, it was held in an online mode from the comfort of my home. Then we had to visit the university for document verifications along with our report cards and payment slip and other essential documents. Other than this we did not have anything else.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members if the university are really helpful in general, other than a few exceptions, they try their best to make us understand, as much as they can, and I am not joking, if a person pays even a lit bit attention while attending the classes then half of his work will be done... if the person just does a quick revision he will be good to goo, obviously there are few exceptions, to this. But in general they are very helpful. And there are few profs who are avail 24×7 to clear your doubt or just discuss something important relating to studies or any important topic.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, we have a lot of internship opportunity at several sectors, and the university if happy to help in case you are not able to find one for your self. They also have tie ups with NGOs and other law firms, like Khaitan and CO., Fox and Mandel, also other great firms. And the professors also help you a lot to find you a perfect place to do your internship at.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Security deposit of Rs.5000 Semester Fee: ?65,500 per semester (for 1st 6 semesters) And Rs.78600 per semister for the remaining 4 Semister. And the total of 1st semister fees comes around Rs.100500 There are no exceptions made, for people belonging to different categories neither are there any exceptions made of EWS category students. There are several scholarships available in the university, and there are 2 categories mainly one that is merit based and the other that is both merit based and financial conditions of the student.
Campus Life :
Well, of you are looking to do law, then heads up.. The uni have a strict policy of 75% attendance and classes starts from 10.00 am and ends at 4.40 pm and the cherry on top is of you take the uni bus then the bus leaves at 5, so there's basically very little time. But if you want to stay at the hostel then the hostel have several events all year round which includes social, cultural and sports events. Also several interesting events are organised by several departments, in which you are free to take part in and enjoy. And we have quiet interesting sports events too. Other than this we have 2 fests in total one organised by the business department but it is more of a trade fair with the vibes of a fest will several events, and competitions and what not, and the other one is the very fest of our university that is XAVRANG. We also have other pop up events help every now and then in the law department itself. It might seem like a lot but after a while it's just boring academic.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
