- The faculties in our college are very good and very friendly also they students about their doubts and give them question paper blueprints , and important question paper
- The cafeteria and infrasturture of our college is good , they provide , gym , canteen , quadrangle which is a gossip area and arupe hall for performing and concerts and events .
Dislikes
- The attandance criteria is very strict and the attandce does not go up quickly compared to how it comes down very fast
- Also the toilets are not that clean , sometimes they are clean and sometimes they are not , but corridors are cleans
Remarks :
Frost of all , this university is an autonomous branch which comes under the St Xavier's College which is famous and popular college in all over india . In 2017 it was established and started providing services , the semester exams and CIA exams are conducted by our our college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
In bcom hons of scuk the course curriculum is somewhat like 1st sem :- Financial accounting - I IRS Human rights Micro Economics Etc subjects are there In second sem :- Cyber law Indian constitution Communicative English Economics Accounting Etc subjects are there
Internships Opportunities :
Acoording to NEP , 2020 every student has to do a compulsary internship programme to clear their semester . I am currently doing an internship programme provided by my college and also finding more intership programmes which i could find in future .
Placement Experience :
The placements cells in our college is decent , like mostly 40-45 percentage of students get selected by placement cells and are employed but cgpa of more than 8 is to be maintained , also those students who did not get placements have their family business to join or do MBA and find jobs thought linkedin indeed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The dress structure of St Xavier's University (SXUK) , Kolkata is Admission fees - 93,000 1st semester - 6/8th semester = 58,000 per semester . There are scholarship proggrames through which students can take admission but the scholarship fees is currently not known by me but yes students have to pass the scholarship exam to avail this benefit . The fees of Bcom in SXUK is not increasing it remains the same each year in our college .My batchmates paid the same fees for each year .
Campus Life :
To enjoy the campus life of sxuk is very good , one who wants to enjoy the campus life can take admission , as it has a big canteen , aslo students can play indoor games , do gym , attend various club , societies which organise something or the other .
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel , but according to my friends that the hostel fees is quite too high but the facilities are not good , no ac , no air cooler , no tv and mess food is average . There are two hostels girls and boys and both have 12th floor maybe .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
