Dislikes
- The overall infrastructure is quite decent the facilities are average but many equipment required for my course BCA was unavailable im the college There two computer lab only one of them have good computers the other one is almost unused Medical facilities are rare , no sports activities
Remarks :
The factors are not so complicated as I this was course I wanted to opt for and the college was near my locality The test that I had to give was CET i.e, common entrance exam where your rank is not mandatory to get admission into my college only the result is to provided the admin
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the course because BCA has great demand in near future because it is the age of computer where AI is influencial and hence learning it could help me make a career also good for long term and friends suggested the same
Placement Experience :
Basically good CGPA is required like other colleges to get a good placement but more skills are also wanted during selection But unfortunately no big company comes for recruitment in our college Only syartios come for requirement where they mostly offers internship Most of students complete there Degree and go to non core jobs others drop out is the 2nd or first year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission fees of our college is 18000 rs The semester fees is 30000 each for six semesters which includes the tuition fee of 26000 and development fee 4000 included in that semester fees The total amount including the semester fees admission and others expenses is 210000 Toh can avail for Swami vivekananda scholarship if your percentage is above 60 in last qualification exam i.e, class 12 And kanyashree for girls
Campus Life :
There is not much of a social life here in this college because no notany club are ther in this college no sports activities are held annually Only good thing is that it has decent library where you can borrow books

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
